Free as the sea...

TGIF!

Yesterday I pulled out my Impronte d'Autore binder of stamps and chose this cutie from the small Mermazing set to ink up. I didn't stop there though, after masking off the mermaid I stamped the sea monster from the Perfect Mix set behind her. I think the energy of both matches really well and they look super cute together. The sentiment is from the Mermaid Vibes set and I was able to get it and the Mermazing set at Crafty Purple Frog, who has a great selection of Impronte d'Autore clear stamp sets.  :)

Okey dokey, have a good one!

Hello Easter...

Hey, hey!

Are you ready for another Easter card? These sweet lambs are part of the Impronte d'Autore set called, Hello Ewe. I was able to get them from Crafty Purple Frog, who has a nice selection of their stamps. Lambs are another one of those cute critters that are ubiquitous with Spring and Easter so I really wanted to get them on a card during this season. I stamped and masked these two into a little scene where it looks like the one is giggling at the other's jumping and leaping antics. The tulips and sentiment are all part of the same set as well and the rest of the scene I colored in by hand. The whole thing is simple and cute and was pretty quick to create, which was great for my busy schedule yesterday.  :)

Have a good one!

Merry Christmas...

Hey, hey!

I've been wanting to take this wizard from the Impronte d'Autore Always Believe in Magic set and turn him into a Father Christmas image for almost a year now, really ever since I got this set from Crafty Purple Frog, who has a nice selection of Impronte d'Autore clear stamp sets. Besides giving him Christmas colored robes, the only alteration I made was to sketch in the staff and lantern that he is holding. I think he definitely captures that old world charm as he makes his way through the snow on this Christmas Eve night. I don't know what it is, because I have plenty of actual Christmas stamps still waiting to make it onto cards but it is especially fun to take a non-holiday stamp and turn it into a magical Christmas card like this.  :)

Stay crafty my friends!

Dive into fun...

Good morning!

How fun is this little mermaid from the Mermaid Vibes by Impronte d'Autore? I picked my set up at Crafty Purple Frog, who has a great selection of Impronte d'Autore clear stamp sets. It was this mermaid's cute diving pose that had me reaching for her first. I could just picture her joyfully leaping out of the water and when I spotted the ship in the Peter and Hook set, it was the perfect backdrop to help set the scene. It's kinda like she is playing hide and seek with the pirates, LOL! The sentiment is from an old My Favorite Things set and I like it because it reinforces the whole diving theme of the card.

Okey dokey, have a good one!
