Merry Gingies digi release at Sweet November!

Hello friends!

We are moving into Christmas crafting with the new Merry Gingies digi release that is now available in the Sweet November Stamps store. Delicious gingerbread just goes hand in hand with the holiday season and these cookie characters are bringing extra sweetness to our Christmas crafting. There are three pairs of girl and boy gingerbread cuties to choose from; Cookie Gingies, Merry Gingies and Peppermint Gingies.

My first card features the Cookie Gingies duo where the gingerbread girl is holding a heart shaped cookie and the gingerbread boy is holding a star shaped cookie. The simple background of soft pinks and and violets is meant to bring to mind cotton candy with a sprinkling of powder sugar snow falling down upon them.

Next, the Merry Gingies are happily holding hands as they dance across the cotton candy snow. Their candy coated cuteness will have you turning up the Christmas music to bop along with them.

Finally, the Peppermint Gingies are in the candy cane forest thanks to the Christmas tree cookies that I borrowed from the older Christmas Cookies 3 set. Proof that peppermint and gingerbread are a seasonal pairing that can't be beat.  :)

Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Gingy sweetness from the rest of our talented design team. Also, don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PDT over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!

It's the Season release at Purple Onion!

Hello friends!

It's time to get excited because there are two new Christmas releases hitting the shelves at Purple Onion Designs today. First there is the darling Cotswood Christmas collection by Holly Mabutas with nine new stamps, including an amazing new background. Then there is also the It's the Season collection by Chilliezgraphy by Pei which includes eleven adorable stamps plus a coordinating sentiment set.

My first card today uses stamps from the Cotswood Christmas collection and I can't even tell you how much I love this new Cotswood Village Background... it is amazing! I did some masking to add the bears from the Little Roo Loves the Holiday Windows set and the fox from The Gifters set into the streets of this quaint little village. It's instant story telling and that makes me so happy!

My second card features the new Flappy Skating stamp and this happy pup is flying across the ice with Christmas themed balloons trailing in the air behind him. Off in the distance I added the older Winter Trees Background to help set the scene and once it was all colored up I added a sentiment from the new 'Tis the Season sentiment set to complete the card.

Now, go have some fun perusing all of the new goodies in the Purple Onion Designs store.  :)

Let's kick off today's cards with this cute Fall scene that I colored during yesterday's morning Live over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. The sweet fox and bunny are from the new Cozy Knit Critters set and I've stamped them into the new 6x6 Forest Path Background. I like to think that these two have stopped to admire one and other's lovely knit scarves as they go about their busy day.

Next, the fairwees are back with the Fall Day Fairwees set. Included are four different fairwees doing various Fall activities, two sentiments and this fun fairy house to help set the scene. The migrating geese flying by are from the older Birch Trees Horizon Lines set and the sentiment was borrowed from the Bountiful Blessings: Berry Sweet Day set. Do you think she is going to make a delicious pie with all of those berries?

Yesterday afternoon we took advantage of having more time to color and dove right into this spooky scene featuring Mama Morgana during the Live over on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. She is standing in that same 6x6 Forest Path Background but look how different it can appear just by changing your color palette. We went from bright and cheery in the morning Live to dark and spooky in the afternoon... so much fun! The sentiment I added is also included in the Mama Morgana set.

Finally, I've got another faux post card and this one is Halloween themed. This darling witch and her kitty are from the new Black Cat Magic set, as are the mini pumpkin and mouse that I used to decorate the postage stamp. Together they all create a magical scene that was finished off with an airbrushed background. The postage accents were added using the Year Round Post Marks set. :)

Now, check out all of the cards over at the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more inspiration from the amazing Sweet November Design Team members. And get ready for a second day full of Live coloring, both at 10am then again at 2pm PST on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page!

Falling Under a Spell clear release at Sweet November!

Hello again!

The much anticipated Falling Under a Spell clear release is now available at Sweet November Stamps and we are excited to introduce 12 new Fall and Halloween stamp sets! As always, we have a wonderful mix of stamps and styles to choose from so there is something for everyone to fall in love with. The shopping special for this release is spend $75 or more in physical product and you will get the 3x4 Candie Corn set absolutely FREE (while supplies last). And of course there is also FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders over $85 and $15 flat rate shipping for all international orders over $85. We've also brought back the exclusive limited time digital bundle deal which will be available through October 19th. All of the sets have been bundled together, which is 42 images, 16 accessories and 10 sentiments for $120. As an added bonus, from now through Monday, October 19th, every digi order placed at Sweet November Stamps will also receive the exclusive Goblin Gilly digi for FREE and digi orders over $10 with also include Goblin Gordie for FREE, no code necessary.  :)

For my first card I colored up SN Gal Selene and her vampire bat. This gothic beauty finds herself in the Haunted Cemetery digital background well into the witching hour on All Hallow's Eve. What brings her there is a closely guarded secret though I suspect Selene isn't afraid. In fact, perhaps it is us that should be wary of this witchy woman.  ;)

Next, we move on to lighter fare with a fun Fall card using stamps from the new Pumpkin Patch set. This cute kiddo has spent the afternoon at the farm enjoying hayrides and playing in the corn maze. Now it's time to find the perfect pumpkin to carve into a jack o'lantern come Halloween night all under the supervision of the pumpkin scarecrow.

Staying within the Fall theme, I made a faux post card featuring the deer from the new Cozy Knit Critters set. These sweet forest critters are all bundled up for the cooler weather and looking cute in their colorful knits. I also borrowed the tiny chipmunk and leaves from the older Fall Gathering set to add some extra details. The postage accents were added using the Year Round Post Marks set.

Finally for today, I've paired the new Candie Corn cutie with the older Corny but Sweet set to create this playful Halloween card. She has a fun mod style with her A line dress and go-go boots that make Candie very versatile for non-Halloween cards as well. Don't forget that you can get Candie Corn for free with a $75 physical order.  :)

Now, check out all of the cards over at the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more inspiration from the amazing Sweet November Design Team members. I will also be coloring Live twice each day this weekend, first at 10am then again at 2pm PST on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page!
