Release day at Stamping Bella!

 

Good morning!

The Holiday release is now available at Stamping Bella and you can find all 16 of the new Halloween and Christmas stamps there, ready to ship right to you. 

The final four Oddball Zodiac Girls are part of this release and I was able to play with Virgo and Libra for the previews so I'm sharing them both today. First up is Oddball Zodiac Virgo and she comes with a full sheaf of wheat, the little bee and the Virgo sentiment. I stamped the wheat on its side and only inked up half of it so it would look like it is lying on the ground behind her. After coloring the characters I masked them off and used a mix of messy background stamps to add the abstract patterning in the classic Virgo colors. The sentiment was fleshed out with a Happy Birthday die cut, making this a fun and personalized birthday card. 

 

Next is Oddball Zodiac Libra and she comes with a set of scales and the Libra sentiment. I followed the same design formula that I used on Virgo, substituting the browns and greens for the light pastel colors that represent Libra. The sentiment is the same Happy Birthday die cut, and it is pretty cool to see how different the same design can look by just changing out the color scheme.

Creepy Halloween Dolls at SN!

 

Hello again!

Spooky Season continues on at Sweet November Stamps with the new Creepy Dolls digi release. There are three dolls to choose from and all of them are pretty... pretty spooky that is! Say hello to Webby Wendy, Skelly Kelly and Jack O Jackie.

My first card features Webby Wendy all covered in spiders. These creepy crawlies have woven the webs decorating her fancy cap and gown.

Next, Skelly Kelly is hanging around all decked out in skulls and bones. She clicks and clatters every time her strings are pulled into a spooky skeleton dance.

 Finally, Jack O Jackie is all aglow, just like the mini jack o'lanterns that decorate her outfit.

A Sweet Sorceress digi release at SN!

 

Hello friends!

We are kicking off Spooky Season with the new Sweet Sorceress digi release that was just added to the Sweet November Stamps store. These four lovely little witches are bundled up for the crisp fall nights, yet they still manage to look quite dressed up and fancy. There is Sweet Sorceress Io with her broom, Sweet Sorceress Blythe with her spell book, Sweet Sorceress Mab with her magic wand and Sweet Sorceress Sloane with her pumpkin. There is also the fun Sorceress Hut that you can purchase individually or if you get the limited time bundle deal you can get it for free.

My first card pairs Sweet Sorceress Blythe with the Sorceress Hut in the background. It looks like she is heading home with her favorite spell book tucked securely in her cloak pocket.

Next, I paired Sweet Sorceress Sloane with the Sorceress Hut. By enlarging the hut in this scene, it looks to be much closer to this little witch. I love being able to play with perspective that way using digital stamps. Sloane definitely has a passion for pumpkins and I'm sure more than a few will become spooky jack o'lanterns before Halloween arrives.

 

Finally for today, I have Sweet Sorceress Mab paired with the largest cottage in the Autumn Cottages clear set. She is outside on this fine fall day practicing some new incantations with her magic wand.

Fall Woodland digi release at SN!

 

Hello friends!

My little get-away was great but I'm so excited to be back and with a new digi release to share with all of you. The Spring Woodland collection was such a hit at Sweet November Stamps this past April that I couldn't wait to add a Fall Woodland collection to the mix. I didn't create a new background because the Spring Woodland Background works just as well with these new cuties... it's all about changing up the color palette to the warm, Autumn hues. Plus, that freed me up to create an extra set of critters, LOL! The five new sets include; Fall Woodland Fox, Squirrel and Racoon, Fall Woodland Badger, Hedgie and Deer, Fall Woodland Moose, Beaver and Mole, Fall Woodland Skunk, Rabbit and Bear and Fall Woodland Tara and Owl. As an added bonus, we have a limited time bundle deal special where if you purchase the Fall Woodland Bundle any time through August 30th, you will receive the exclusive Fall Woodland Wolf digi for free.  :)

My first card mixes and matches together the moose and the badger along with the Spring Woodland Background. I like how Mr Moose is looking down at his little friend, who is happily sitting within a mushroom ring. They both should be fine, just so long as neither one tries to eat those mushrooms!

Next, I paired together the Owl, Skunk and Mole with the Spring Woodland Background. Dusk arrives earlier during these shorter Fall days but that is when these cute critter friends really start to let loose. They think that everything is more fun in the dark.

Once again the Spring Woodland Background is setting the scene, this time for the Bear and Beaver. Bear has had a busy day catching salmon in the stream and now it's time for a pre-hybernation nap while Beaver looks on.

This card finds the cute trio of Raccoon, Squirrel and Hedgie gathering fruits and nuts in the Spring Woodland Background. Together they are going to share quite the Fall feast.

Tara is our Fall sweetie and she is joined by the deer in this Spring Woodland Background scene. She has brought a gift of sweet, juicy apples for her forest friend.

Last call on the Frosty Friends kit...

I'm ending this week with the final three cards that I made using the new Frosty Friends kit at The Greeting Farm. My first card today uses that great house background again and this time I paired it with the sweet baker snowman. He is offering cookies to the little rabbit pulling a sled full of Christmas flowers. The sentiment was borrowed from the SSS Warm the Heart collaboration set and stamped in a warm red to match the cute characters. 

 

My second card pairs the sledding snowman with the little penguin that I stamped twice. At the bottom of the hill I added the snowman lounging in a snow bank. Good times are indeed being had by all on this busy sledding hill.

 

For my last card, we find a darling snowman being visited by some feathered friends. I used a soft pastel color scheme to color them in to a pastoral scene along the banks of a frozen river.
