Careful... Lilith will break your heart...

Wow, it's Friday... where did the week go?
And with the Tickled Pink previews just getting started things aren't gonna slow down around here any time soon! LOL

Today Lil Lolita Lilith is back on the scene and ready to put her rather moody spin on the Valentine's holiday. I like to think of her as the heart breaker rather than heart broken... what do you think? ;)
Her funky style had me reaching for this great KI Memories paper from my stash. I like how it gives the card that teen love kind of vibe, like a doodled on notebook cover. Awww, the up and down dramas of young love... heeheehee!

Now you'll want to be sure to head on over to the Tickled Pink blog to see what the rest of the Pink Ladies have created with this little beauty and to get entered in for a chance to win Lilith too! Then mark your calendar for January 13th because that is when all of the new Tickled Pink January release stamps and digis will go up for sale in the Tickled Pink store! :)

XOXO!

Time for Tickled Pink previews... and a challenge!

Hello, hello!

So today is an exciting day for Tickled Pink Stamps... not only are we kicking of previews for the new release but we also have the very first challenge up for the new and improved Tickled Pink challenge blog! :)

We are starting things off with a super easy "anything goes" challenge so you can do whatever you want with your card just so long as it uses any of the Tickled Pink range of stamps. There will be a new challenge each week and of course there are prizes up for grabs so we hope to see you all join the fun!
For my card today I used the brand spankin' new Cherrie with tag stamp. Yep, this little cutie is back and all decked out for Valentine's day... or any day really, considering the tag is blank to start out. I actually masked off the ribbon and stamped a small sentiment on there. Then I paired her with this fantastic 'cheater' paper. I call it 'cheater' because it is all one sheet but it looks like I took the time to die cut out and layer all those different patterns... love that! LOL ;)

And if this has got you excited, then be sure to check back for even more Tickled Pink previews over the next five days. There is loads of Valentine's cuteness that I just can't wait to share with ya! Then once the previews are done the entire new release will be available in the Tickled Pink Store on January 13th!

See ya in 24 with a real heart breaker! :)

Need a tissue?

Good morning friends!

It's the first Wednesday of the new year and that means it is time for a new challenge over at the ATS challenge blog! This week is all about creating a tissue box cover. Now I think that by now I've pretty firmly established the fact that I am NOT a "project alterer" so I didn't exactly create an entire cover. But I figured that as pretty as some of the tissue boxes are these days, I could get away with just adding a bit of stamping and embellishing to it. ;)
So since I was starting off with this Valentine looking rose box I decided to use Emma with rose and the chest, both from the Take a Seat set, to continue the 'rose' theme. After I had them colored up all I did was border punch some cream card stock and add some ribbon... voila!

After I got that done I wanted to create a coordinating card too, what can I say... I like being back in my comfort zone. LOL! It's quick and simple and I couldn't help using more of that Sweet Nectar paper that I've found myself being drawn back to time and again, I just love the color combo on this!
Anywho, if you feel like playing along with the tissue box challenge don't forget that every week there is a new and exciting prize being offered and in order to be eligible to win, your card/project must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps store. Whether it is any of our wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries, the choice is yours. Then be sure to link up your creation with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10pm est and only one entry per person please!
Toodles! :)

Happy!

Howdy folks!

Well the new year is certainly off and running and I'm already feeling like I'm trying to keep up, LOL! Things are busy here and I haven't been able to craft as much as I would like so for this card I cheated a bit and broke into the Merry January card kit which came together in record time. I did add a few bits of my own to it with the pearls and the teeny tiny Tinks from the retired TGF Neverland set. Other than that though there wasn't a whole lot of thinking or creativity required, which is exactly what I needed. ;)

And now it's time for me to be off and running once again but before I go I have a quick share... ATS has done a discounted bundle of the January Sweet November release where you can get 15% off by ordering all seven of the new characters. Not a bad deal at all!

Sending warm fuzzies...

Good morning!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Talk about needing some warm fuzzies, it hasn't gotten over 20 degrees here the last few days and the rest of the week isn't looking to get much better. It's all about layers, layers, layers just so we don't freeze! Hopefully things are warmer in your neck of the woods. :)

Well, sometimes I feel that my card layouts kinda start falling into a rut and that is the perfect time to venture out and find a great sketch to shake things up a bit. So that is exactly what I did with today's card... I decided to play along with this week's CA&Friends Saturday sketch challenge for a fun change of pace. And my image is an alteration that I've been dying to do ever since I spotted Fuzzy Wuzzy Oliver's fantastic hat! I head swapped digi Wild Sprout Audrey's head (fingers crossed we see her in rubber someday soon... nudge, nudge, wink, wink!) with digi Wild Sprout Camille's body. Then I plunked Oliver's hat (doesn't it remind you of Cousin Eddie's from the Christmas Vacation movie? LOL) on her to finish off the ensemble. With her little tongue sticking out she totally makes me think of a kid trying to catch snowflakes during a snow fall. Anywho, I really love how this one came together. :)

Alrighty, before I head off for the day I just want to remind you that there is still time to get entered into the Sweet November Princess candies below and I will be announcing all of the winners in tomorrow's post!
Good luck!
