OMGoodness folks, you know that snow that I was thinking couldn't possibly start falling yesterday? Well it DID! It started dumping on us in the morning and hasn't let up yet. My poor little yorkie is finding it hard to go outside and do his business when the snow is deeper than he is tall. I know, I know TMI but this is just ridiculous! Luckily for me I have no where to go so I'll just hole up and enjoy not having to go out into the storm. :)

So as you can see I've had some more fun altering stamps with this one. What can I say, I like the challenge of seeing how many regular stamps I can make work for a holiday card. This time I stamped up one of the Miss Anya's from the original set and and then gave her Rain Miss Anya's clothes so that she would have a coat and some boots to keep her warm while she goes out to do her last minute gift shopping. Sure, a mini skirt is probably pretty impractical but she just can't help but want to be stylish even in the winter weather. ;)

Well, it's time for me to go heat up some cocoa and turn on the Christmas tunes... I'll let you know if I'm able to dig myself out of all this white stuff tomorrow, LOL!

It's supposed to snow today but I'm doubting that it will be cold enough as we've been having a virtual heatwave of temps in the high 30s. ;)
Still, with my luck I'll be driving home from work in a snow storm! Oh well, I'll deal with that when and if I have to.

So as you can see, I went a little button crazy on this card! What can I say, once I started adding them I just couldn't stop, LOL. I also went a bit glitter crazy too but you can't see that in the pic. I guess sometimes you just need to give in to the sparkle and froof and just go with it. :)
I 'big headed' the Christmas Evie digi from Tickled Pink and though I didn't plan for it originally, after I had colored her hair black all of a sudden she started looking very Snow White-ish to me. So I ran with it which just leads us full circle back to why I went all shimmery and froofy... princesses want to celebrate the holidays too!

Alrighty, I think I must be a bit tired because it feels like I'm starting to talk nonsense a bit. Good thing I've got a couple days off after this. ;)

I've got work again but I'm thinkin' that ol' Christmas spirit must be in the air because this past week has been really good and I don't mind making the trek back in at all. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that things stay this way for a while.

My card today is pretty simple, design wise, because I spent most of my time coloring up this image. It's the Three Wee Kings from Lili of the Valley and I really can't get enough of these kid's Christmas pageant looking little scenes... so, so cute! Hopefully I'll be able to find time to color up the rest that go with this before Christmas actually gets here.

Hello there!
So I know I'm a day late in getting to it but did my fellow Gleeks enjoy the Glee Christmas episode Tuesday night? I thought it was such a fun mix of touching moments and humour with the whole play off the Grinch story and Becky dressed up like Max... too cute. I also really enjoyed the Brittany storyline, she always has great, off-the-wall, one liners and this episode was no exception. In fact, I got such a chuckle from one that I had to use it on my card for today! ;)
When she was discussing letters to Santa with Artie and tells him to remember that "even the smallest envelope is heavy for an elf" something about that seemed perfect for a card. I could just picture tiny elves trying to lug around and sort out all those letters, LOL.

So I altered up Wild Sprouts Vivi from The Greeting Farm by wiping away her present and replacing it with an 'envelope' then computer generated the Glee quote as my sentiment. I also decided to go ahead and enter this in the FFF challenge... let it snow. It had been a long time since I played in a TGF challenge but I recently enjoyed the three blog hop challenges so much that I'm excited to be jumping back into the fun! :)

Are you ready for a new Wednesday Challenge over at ATS? This week is all about those crafty Christmas gift ideas! My project is a decorated goodie box, perfect for giving someone sweet something sweet LOL!
To create the box I simply began cutting... oh wait... almost forgot, I'm a lazy crafter and I don't make boxes, heeheehee! Instead I simply bought some pre-made Martha Stewart boxes, decorated them up with my little Juniper stamp and called it a day. Heck, I couldn't even make time to bake some cookies so Hersheys it is. ;)

So who is excited for the Christmas Glee episode tonight? Thanks to a friend I've been enjoying the cd for a couple weeks now but that doesn't lessen how excited I am for the show! I can remember wishing for a Christmas episode last year so this one feels like a long time coming and now I'm counting down the hours. ;)

My card today is actually for the very last Tickled Pink Monthly sketch challenge.
