Good morning!

I've got a quick one to share with you this morning and not only does it feature the new Happy Day Amelia, in honor of today being release day, it is also for this week's Monday Mania challenge over at CA&Friends. It's a recipe challenge with Trish aka Stampi, that will have you seeing spots and dots all over! The challenge requires you to use at least one polka dot pattern paper and a minimum of three circle elements on your card. :)

Oh and don't forget that there are still some chances to win the new Camille and Ebony rubber stamps as we've hidden one of each on a couple of the DT blogs today... like the card says... fun, fun, fun! ;)

Sorry this is super short, I've just got a crazy busy schedule today with an extra full to-do list.
See ya tomorrow!

Enjoy every moment

Happy Sunday my friends... I hope everyone effected by the tsunami warnings yesterday managed to stay high and dry, my thoughts have been with you all. :)

Despite all of the crazy weather so many places have been experiencing this winter, we've had it a lot milder than usual in my neck of the woods. Heck, we're already seeing signs of springs like the crocus flowers pushing their way up through the dirt and its got me so ready for some warmer weather. And I can't help it, my cards are definitely reflecting that wish.

So I pulled out Travel Anya and used her head with Dress Me Anya's body because I just love how it looks like her hair is blowing in a gentle breeze. Now rather than taking a trip through busy, crowded airports Anya is strolling through a peaceful meadow full of fluttering butterflies and sweet smelling flowers... who wouldn't want to join her? Oh and see those little crochet flowers? My wonderful sister has taken up crochet recently and she made them just for me. I'm hoping now that I've used them up she will make me a bunch more... hint, hint Jacque... LOL ;)
I'm also entering my card into this week's Flutter By challenge. It's open so I figured it would qualify with all those little butterflies flitting about. :)
Alrighty, I'm off to work... catch ya on the flip side!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and PTI

Ebony and ivory...

Well maybe not ivory but I do have Ebony to share with you today and great news my friends...she's now available in rubber! Woot, woot! :)
Yep, one more of the limited edition Twi Sprouts is finally taking her permanent spot on the Farm and who doesn't love that? Ya know I do!

Ebony is such a funky little chick with a style all her own. She's a bit edgy and a lot cute so I let myself go wild with the colors and papers on this card... helloooo zebra print, LOL! ;)
I also thought she looked like she could be a closet comic book geek so I broke out my absolute most FAVORITE Prima flowers ever for this. The Summer Singles came out last year I think, and the flowers have comic book style character drawings printed on them which totally appeal to me as I'm a closet comic geek myself... whistle, whistle ;)
Anywho... I just think miss Ebony could give any fan boy a run for his money in a pop culture trivia contest like Beat the Geek (anyone ever watch that game show?) LOL.

This card also follows Pam's awesome Saturday sketch challenge over at CA&Friends and we would love to see you join the fun this week. While you're there be sure to check out all the Ebony goodness from my fellow CA girls too! :)
And don't forget that all of the new releases we've been previewing this week will go up for sale at The Greeting Farm on Monday, 3/1... yeah! :)

Alrighty, time for work... may the force be with you... ;)

ROooOaAAaRRrr!

Hey sweeties! Are you ready for another TGF March release preview?
You may have been a lucky gal who snagged one of the limited run Oliver and Amelia sets a couple month's back when Jess first sneak peeked them but for everyone else this is the official "Hello and welcome to the Farm" for these little cuties. :)

I used Oliver for my card today simply because I could not resist those little dino friends of his... can't you just hear the funny "Grrrrrrrrr" and "Arrrrrrrgh" sounds Oliver makes as he plays with them? Heeheehee... me too! ;)
Plus how could I pass up the opportunity to play with this fun Basic Grey paper that was such a perfect match... it's like a thought bubble into Oliver's imagination! Ok, I admit... I may have had too much fun with this one. :)

If you haven't been already, stomp on over to the CA&Friends blog to see all the wonderful cards my teamies have created with this fab new set!
And then mark your calendar for Monday, the 1st when the entire March release goes up for sale in the TGF store... lots of fun new rubber to play with, yeah!

Alrighty then, I'll see ya back here tomorrow with the last of the TGF sneak peeks for March.
Have a good one! :)Supply list:

Wednesday challenge on a Thursday

Good morning!

So I'm a day behind in sharing this card with you here since this was my sample for the All That Scraps challenge. This week we want to see you use some kind of text paper on your cards... it can be torn from an old book, cut from a newspaper or even scrapbook paper that's made to look like that. I took the later approach and used the October Afternoon Cherry Hill die-cuts for a quick and easy decorative border strip that only looks like I punched it out of old dictionary paper... yep, I'm a cheater, cheater pumpkin eater LOL! :)

For the main image I altered Sugarplums Polka Dot Emma simply by wiping away the bottom half of her swimsuit and torso then drew in the skirt on her new dress. Oh and I added some shoes to her feet too. Now she's ready to step off the beach and head off for a day out on the town. :)

I hope to see you join in this week's challenge, there is a super cute Pebbles Inc Lil Buddy paper and sticker set up for grabs which would make some fantastic boy cards! Just be sure to post your entry on the blog using Mr Linky by Tuesday at 10:00pm est. Your card must include a stamp sold in the All That Scraps store (don't worry there are a ton to choose from... check it out!) to be eligible in our weekly giveaway and only one entry per person please. :)

I can't wait to see all the cool cards everyone comes up with for this challenge!

Happy stamping my friends! :)

Supply list:
cardstock- cardstock warehouse and PTI

The wait is finally over

Good morning!

Welcome to our CA& Friends sneak peeks of the release coming out on Monday. Yep, it's that time again... can you believe it? :)

So we are kickin' things off today with a Wild Sprout who was super popular as a limited edition digi and is now back on the Farm in rubber... say hello to Camille!
Now call me weird but I can buy a digi and I can use a digi (when I remember to check what I have on the computer) but I never really feel like I own a stamp until I have an actual rubber version in my hands and in my binders. So I'm always excited to see them make that leap... told ya I was weird LOL! ;)

For my card today I saw Camille's stylin' little coat and jeans outfit as being perfect for a walk in the park on an early spring morning just after the rain starts to subside and the rainbow crosses the sky. There's still a chill in the air but the birds are chirping and chattering promising brighter things ahead. At least that's what I intended but now as I look at it two different scenarios keep playing out for poor Camille...
a) the jewels that were supposed to represent rain drops are actually 'presents' the birds are bombing her with or
b) she has been transported into the classic Hitchcock horror movie, "The Birds"... eeek! Run Camille, run!

LOL, oh well... ya gotta be able to laugh at yourself right? :)

Oh and the WCW Wednesday challenge is all about embossing this week so I cheated a bit and used some pre-embossed swiss dot cardstock for the background... quick and easy! Be sure to join the fun, as always there is a shot at winning a free digi!

Ok, that's all I got, be sure to stop by the CA blog to see what my fellow CA gals have created with little Camille... and then I'll see you back here with more TGF goodness on Friday!
Supply list:
cardstock- cardstock warehouse, Bazzill and PTI

Sunshine, on my shoulders

makes me happy...

So, how's everyone doing this morning?

Me? I'm good. Getting ready for work and looking forward to the day in general. I don't know why really, just woke up with a good feeling and I'm hoping it lasts. :)

This card seems to be reflecting my good mood to a 'T'... aren't the colors delish? They totally take me to my happy place LOL! Even though I haven't technically used up that Basic Grey card kit I've been playing with, when I found this new WeR Vintage Blue card kit it was totally calling my name. Between the fab color combo and the whimsical designs, this line may just be one of my new all time faves... and I never make that claim lightly. ;)
Of course I had to play with their recipes a bit and tweak the designs 'cause it's just what I do but that doesn't mean I don't love how quick and easy a kit can make the whole card making process. It was so quick that I had enough time to sketch out this new little fairy that may, or may not be a teaser of some future stamp designs... whistle, whistle... ;)

Anywho, don't be surprised if you start to see a lot more of these Vintage Blue papers on my cards in the near future... I don't think I'll be able to resist myself. :)

Ok take care my friends, see ya back here tomorrow with a Club Anya sneak peek!

Sew sweet

Hello out there!

Here we are at yet another Monday morning... the last one of the month if you can believe it.
In a couple of days I'll have some Club Anya sneak peeks to share but until then I've got this fun alteration using Cheeky Rockabilly and digi WS Odette's body. :)
This was a bit more involved than simply swapping heads as I wanted her to have both eyes open... so I wiped away her closed eye with a baby wipe, stamped Cheeky Shooter on a scratch piece of paper and used my lightbox to trace her eye onto Rockabilly's face. I also drew in the rest of her hair so it would look nice behind her new body. Now she reminds me of a fashionable costume designer from the golden age of cinema... right down to her little pearl earrings. ;)
For a closer look at how I alter stamps, just check out the links I've added in my sidebar to the tutorials I've done over at Club Anya.

My card is also totally inspired by this week's Cupcake Inspiration challenge... I just couldn't resist the fun sewing theme when I had this new Cosmo Cricket Material Girl paper to play with. :)

Oh and for those of you who asked how I colored the dirt on my gnome card yesterday it was really simple... I started with E55 making quick messy dots and dabs with the marker, then I did the same with E57... making the dots closer together in areas that I wanted to be shadowed (like under the pots and Mr Gnome, then I added dots and dabs of E59 in the same fashion. Once that was done I went over the entire area with smooth strokes of the E55 to blend. Hope this helps!

Ok, later gators! Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and PTI
paper- Cosmo Cricket (Material Girl)
stamp- The Greeting Farm (Cheeky Rockabilly)
digi stamp- The Greeting Farm (Wild Sprouts Odette)
ink- Memento tuxedo black, Colorbox dark brown chalk ink

Gnome, sweet gnome

Hello, hello my stampin' sisters! I hope everyone is enjoying a lovely Sunday with plenty of time to stamp and craft today. :)

I finished the Sweet November Stamps badge yesterday and have placed it in my sidebar, if anyone is interested in adding it to their blog all you have to do is right click and save it to your computer to use it. Hope you like! :)

As soon as I saw that the Quixotic challenge for this week was to create something for your mom, I knew I wanted to play along. Ideas would come and go but for days nothing perfect was coming to mind and it just had to be perfect. So I kept putting it off until inspiration finally hit with the arrival of an order of new Cosmo Cricket papers... mmmmm... I LOVE new papers, LOL! ;)
And as soon as I spied the happy veggies paper from the Garden Variety line, the wheels began to turn. You see, my mom loves her garden, every spring she can't wait to get out there and plant all her veggies (some grow more successfully than others heeheehee) and I also knew just what stamps I wanted to use too.
A few years ago she had given me this Garden Gnome stamp set which we both thought was really cute. I used it once but since the images really need to be colored in (and this was before I was introduced to the wonderful world of Copics) it has kinda been neglected since then. So now was the time for the Gnome to make his come back... and boy, has he! I created this scene using a bunch of different stamps from the set, now Gnomey is working his magic getting his little garden started. And just look at those smiling veggies... we all know that peas and carrots are a pretty easy audience but any gnome that can get a tomato to smile is A-OK in my book (I think it must be all that acidity that effects their attitude) LOL ;)

I plan on including an IOU note for "one trip to the greenhouse this spring" when I give it to Mom... she'll like that. And I know I just spoiled the surprise because she reads this blog but she's such a snoop that she would have found it early anyway... Mom, ya know I tease because I love. ;)

Alrighty, that's all I've got today... hasta manana!

Gettin' sketchy

Sweet Saturday mornin' to ya!

Ahhh, one more day off... gotta love it. I hope everyone is enjoying today as much as I plan to. :)
One of things on my to-do list is getting a badge done so hopefully I'll have that ready to share with y'all tomorrow. ;)

Today I want to share with you the card I've made for Pam's Saturday Sketch challenge over at CA&Friends. You may recognize some more of that Basic Grey Lemonade card kit I've been using here... only three more cards to go and it will all be used up... sweet! I've also done a bit of altering by combining Cheeky Glamour's head and arm with digi WS Dressy Camille's body... I just figured it was about time for that little lady to get herself dressed, LOL! So now Glamour is all dressed up with no where to go, well, only until I figure out who to send her to that is. :)

So be sure to stop by Club Anya today and check out this fun sketch, we'd love to have you play along with us! :)

TGIF!

Whew! Did you hear that sigh of relief? Yep, that was me... it's finally Friday and I've got today and tomorrow off. Yeah! :)
I'm sooooo gonna relax a bit and just unwind after this very busy week but not too much 'cause I've still got plenty to keep me busy. At least it's a fun kind of busy though. ;)

Before I get to today's card I wanted to let everyone know that I still haven't heard from one of the Easter candy winners yet so BJ, if you see this I need your mailing address in order to get your candy to you. If I don't hear from BJ by this coming Wednesday I'll have to draw a new winner for the Baby Bunny with bunny... I gotta do it, the clutter on my desk is getting a bit ridiculous.

Ok, so this Pure Innocence cutie was talking to me and telling me that she needed to be on a card today and really... who can resist that sweet face? Not me. :) Once again I've got some Sassafras paper creating a quick yet interesting background what with that scalloped border already attached to the sheet. A little ribbon and a healthy dose of flowers and viola! A finished card. Sometimes quick and easy is the perfect way to go. ;)

Hope your weekend is a good one!

Bright, bight, bright, sunshiny day!

Hello and good morning to you my friends!

After work and a class last night I was worried that I wouldn't have a card to share on my blog today.... yikes! Luckily I remembered that I hadn't posted the cards I made for the TGF relay challenge a few weeks back so that really saved my bacon!
This one was my favorite of the three because even though it was super quick everything on it just seemed to fall into place perfectly. I love, love, love Charlotte (keeping my fingers crossed for a rubber version someday), she is such a little hipster and just way too cool and fun to color. :)
I found this sheet of Sassafras paper in my stash and thought that the collage look of it made for an interesting background without all the work of having to create it myself... sweet!

All in all I had a lot of fun with this one and I can't wait to play with little Charlotte again. :)

Alrighty, it's time for me to make like a banana and split... have a good one! Supply list:
cardstock- Cardstock Warehouse and PTI
paper- Sassafras (Sweet Marmalade)
digi stamp- The Greeting Farm (Wild Sprouts Charlotte)

Recipes aren't just for cooking...

Good morning!

So I've got some exciting news to share with you all today. :)
Recently Christine asked me if I would like to join the All That Scraps Challenge Team and I was delighted to accept the position! It just felt like a good fit for me since ATS is the home of Sweet November Stamps and all. ;)

If you haven't checked out the ATS challenges yet, please allow me to give you a quick run down... every Wednesday a new weekly challenge is posted and you have until the following Tuesday at 10pm est to link up your creation to be entered into the weekly giveaway. And Christine always has cool goodies from her store up for grabs... sometimes it's stamps, sometimes papers and embellies and sometimes even gift certificates... how cool is that?! It's only one entry per person BUT they have opened it back up so that you can combine your cards with other challenges and still be eligible to win... woot, woot! :)

So for my first week on the team we've got a recipe challenge for ya.
You are to use:
4 embellishments
3 pattern papers
2 colors (white/off-white don't count)
1 stamped image

For my sample card Chanter Heartsong is making an appearance once again, my two colors are aqua and green (which, to be honest, is not a combo I use regularly), my three patterns all come from Collage Press and my four embellishments are ribbon, a flower, stick pin and alpha stickers. There is also a lot of sparkle and shine on Chanter's wings and dress but alas, I just can't pick it up in my photo... ah well.

So what are you waiting for? Let's see what fabby creations you create with this fun recipe... I can't wait to see them! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and CC Designs Ivory
paper- Collage Press (Seeds)
stamp- Sweet November Stamps (Chanter Heartsong)

Tag, you're it

Good morning!
I hope everyone is doing well today, getting back into the swing of things after a (possibly) long weekend. :)
I'm dragging just a bit and have got to get ready for work so I'm gonna keep this one short and sweet.

The challenge over at Quixotic this past week has been to use tags on a card, which was quite serendipitous considering I've had these Basic Grey tags kickin' around my desk since the last time I straightened things up. So it felt really good finally putting them to use. :)
This little Ian is actually a combination of Cute Troop Ian (his head) and Dress Me Ian's body. Can I just say once again how much I love the Dress Me set for making simple, generic, non-themed Anyas and Ians... especially when you can throw so many different heads on them. I'm still hoping that Marie makes a fall/winter clothes set for them someday... heck, any new clothes would be fun to see. hint, hint, wink, wink! ;)

Ok, ending on a pleading note is always fun so I'll wrap things up for today.

Check ya later dudes! :) Supply list:
cardstock- Cardstock Warehouse, PTI
tags- Basic Grey (Oh Baby boy)
stamps- The Greeting Farm (Dress Me Ian, Cute Troop Ian), Inkadinkado (kid quotes sentiment), Tim Holtz (distressed background)

What a night!

Wow! How much fun was that Cheeky Valentine hop last night?!

I have to admit that it kept me up way too late, but it's all good... I've got today off so I could sleep in a bit. And now you know why I'm posting a bit later than usual too. ;)
Ah well, that's life... sometimes you need to be distracted by a Cheeky or two, or three! LOL

Ok, so I've got a quick one today and I pulled my chocolate strawberries color combo from this week's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge... Rachel always has the most delicious inspiration don't you think? :)
I also had fun with a bit of stamp altering... can you guess which Wild Sprouts I combined to make this sweet Valentine? Well the body is Megan's, gotta love that spunky hand on hip pose, and the head is Sassy Suzi's. I ended up giving her a bit of a hair cut to match her new spring time ensemble and I gotta say that I'm really diggin' her new flippy short 'do as a fun alternative look for her.
The rest of the card is pretty quick and easy, the whole little panel with the raccoon came straight from a sheet of BoBunny Love Bandit paper, which is just about the cutest Valentine's line of paper that I have ever seen!

Alrighty, thanks for stopping by and I hope you get some time to rest after the big hop last night too!
Catch ya later!

Today we have a special surprise for you... the ENTIRE TGF DESIGN TEAM, both current and alum were asked to participate in this event! We are THRILLED to be back as one big team and are prepared to ROCK THE FARM tonight, so sit back, grab some tea or maybe some of that Valentine's chocolate and enjoy!

Now, what would a hop be, especially on Valentine's Day, without PRIZES??? Well, there are PLENTY of them hanging around, and for our overseas friends, fear not, you will have until 9am CST tomorrow (Monday, 2/15) to enter your comments to WIN the new stamps!
ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER will be chosen from the Club Anya & Friends blog to WIN ALL THREE Cheeky Cherry stamps! In addition, Jessica has 'hidden' SIX Cheeky Cherry singles on certain team member's blogs, both past and present, and those winners will be able to choose which Cheeky they want to take home! That's 9 singles being given away today everyone! Can you say AWESOME?!

So today I've got the last of the three gift bags that I made for CHA to share with you and I saved my favorite for last. ;)
This little Rockabilly vixen sure knows how to steam up a rowdy honky tonk and she has all those country boys wrapped around her little finger! Rockabilly is saucy and sassy and would rather down a good beer than sip champagne any day, LOL!
And I just think the 'steel plated' flowers I cut out sum up Rockabilly's whole vibe to a 'T'... beautiful but tough as nails. This isn't a girl you want to mess with. ;)

The CHEEKY CHERRY stamps will be released Monday 2/15 at 12am CST, that's in just a few hours! We anticipate that they will go fast as these sweet and sassy little bombshells have been quite well received from what we've been hearing, so scoop yours up ASAP! ALL winners will be posted on the Club Anya blog on Monday morning, shortly after the 9am deadline. GOOD LUCK!
Thanks so much for participating and for stopping by today, be sure to stop by Suzi's blog now... she's the next stop on the hop!

Have a VERY Cheeky evening everyone. :)

Kiss, kiss!

Well hello there dahhh-lings... LOL!

Today I've got another peek at one of the brand new Cheeky Cherry girls from TGF and this time little miss Glamour is gracing us with her presence. ;)
Glamour is trying to act all coy but she's down-right fabulous and she knows it too! She may come off as much more demur than her sisters, Shooter and Rockabilly, but this little vixen can certainly hold her own. Everything about her is just girly and gorgeous... from her silk stockings to her feather boa... and can't you just smell the Chanel wafting through her boudoir (or as she likes to call it, her man trap)? Not just any man though, Glamour has expensive tastes... just check out the tag on the gift bag. heeheehee

Can you tell I'm having WAY too much fun with these Cheekies? Sorry, I just can't help myself! ;)
If you haven't stopped by the TGF blog yet, run on over and check out today's FFF challenge. You'll find even more Cheeky goodness there with yet another chance to win all three of these sassy sisters.

Then mark your calendar's for the "MY CHEEKY VALENTINE" BLOG HOP that will be taking place on Sunday, February 14th, at 8pm CST, with the release going live Monday 2/15 at 12am CST! There will be lots of prizes and surprises on this hop and I promise you won't want to miss out on all the fun! :)

SNS Easter preview and candy- day 5

Well hello there!

Here we are at the final day of Sweet November Easter sneak peeks and what a week it has been. Thanks so much for stopping by each day and sharing in the excitement for this upcoming release, it means a lot to me. :)

So our last preview is a first for SNS... it's a complete stamp set called Spring Elves. You may recall some similar little cuties from the Christmas digi release this past November and now it's time for their spring time cousins to make their debut. What is it about these industrious little elves that everyone from Santa to the Easter Bunny are enlisting their help in getting ready for the holidays? Luckily the elves don't seem to mind putting their skills to good use and these two are joined by their friends, chickie and bun-bun to keep them company. :)

For even more elvish fun and frolic head on over to Traci's and Rachel's blogs... you're gonna love what they've created with these sweeties!

And of course there has got to be some spring inspired candy to go along with this peek so let's see what we've got today... included is: one SNS Spring Elves stamp set, nine 6x6 sheets of Sassafras Lass paper, one Basic Grey Easter mini acrylic stamp set, Prima flowers and e.line pearls and gems, ribbons, buttons, four card blanks, four envelopes and my card.
If you would like a chance at giving these elves a new home before they go up for sale at All That Scraps on Monday the 15th, then all you have to do is leave a comment on this post. If you want to link this candy up on your blog that would be cool but it's not a requirement. Everyone is welcome to play as I will ship the candy wherever the winner may live. All of this week's candies will remain open through tomorrow night and I will announce the winners Saturday morning.
Good luck and have a wonderful day! :)
