Mornin' friends!
So it may be a day late but I was inspired by National Coffee Day to post this coffee themed card that I made a while back for the Foxy Fun release at TGF. It seemed a natural choice to pair up these two coffee friends and play up the whole java theme with a fairly monochromatic color scheme. I also thought this card would be a fun opportunity to go through my washi collection and pair up a few to help decorate the card. It always feels good to use up a bit of my crafty stash, even when it is just one strip of washi at a time. If you haven't gotten your hands on these sweet little foxy friends yet, they are on sale right now over at 7 Kids for a steal of a deal!
Well, I hope to see you back here tomorrow for the October Sweet November release! :)

Brand new Moonlight Whispers release!
Hello friends!
Any Moonlight Whispers fans out there? Well, I'm one and I'm just so excited that Annie Rodrigue is back and this time she is creating brand new digital images with 7 Kids! Earlier this month you may have seen the Pumpkin Spice Witch (down at the bottom of this post) over on Facebook, well today she is adding two more spookalicious images for all of us to color up and have fun with. Say hello to Joy of Autumn and She Called Forth the Night!
I can't even tell you how much a love this buxom beauty. The pure joy and carefree attitude of Joy of Autumn totally makes me smile. You can tell that this is earthy little witch loves life and enjoys the bounty that her favorite season brings.
Then it is time to shift gears and get a bit dark and spooky with She Called Forth the Night. I think it is safe to say that she puts the va-va-va-voom in vampire, LOL! I went super traditional with the whole red and black ensemble but she's still rockin' the classic Countess look.

And finally, a quick refresh since I never actually got Pumpkin Spice Witch posted here on the blog. Talk about one sweet and sassy witchy poo! She's sure enjoying that tall cuppa while contemplating her next mischievous spell. ;)
All three of these beauties can now be found in the 7 Kids store, just in time for all your Halloween crafting and coloring!

A friend like you...
TGIF everybody!
This sweet Cozy Lady from Essentials by Ellen is another stamp set that I got this past spring and I couldn't wait to ink her up once fall rolled around. Here we are and like always with these sets I had so much fun adding all of the extra little accessory stamps to Cozy and the space around her to help tell an entire story. And where I was dreaming of being as stylish as the girls on my card from yesterday, in reality Cozy's comfy layers and messy bun are much more representative of my actual wardrobe, LOL! I colored her into a crisp fall day, one of those perfect ones with its bright blue sky and riot of color everywhere you look. Her pumpkin spice latte is piping hot and the apples she picked are crisp and sweet... so much of this card just says home to me. :)
I shall see you back here tomorrow for a special release post that is quite spooktacular!

Friendship never goes out of style...
Good morning!
It's my turn to share a card on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page and I couldn't wait to ink up my brand new Deep Red City Girls that Kelly just got in last week. These two beauties are from the new Fall Fashion set which has quickly become one of my favorites. These stylin' friends were giving me a very Carrie Bradshaw/Sex and the City type vibe so I totally ran with it when it came time to color in a background. I gotta say, the yellow and grey outfit is one I would borrow in a heart beat, LOL! And just in case you missed it, these stamps and many others are currently part of the 27% OFF sale going on in the store just use the code CARAMEL when checking out. :)
Ok, there is only a couple more days to get in on both the "PUMPKINS" challenge for a shot at a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store and the September Sweet November challenge with a shot at winning the entire Sweet November October release!

All my favorite stories...
Hello crafty friends!
I've got another Dreamerland cutie from the summer release that I really wanted to get on a card before the new holiday stamps arrive. This one is called Dog Lover and I paired these two buddies with the window from the older Just a Note to Say set to create a cozy indoor scene that a lot of us can relate to. I tried to make it look like it is raining outside the window making it the perfect time to get lost in a book. I also borrowed the extra books and mug from a different stamp set and I love how it makes this little dude look like quite the book worm. I gotta say, I kinda wish I could curl up and join them! ;)
Later gators!

Hello fall...
Hi-ya!
I've got a quick, just for fun, card to share with you today. This is another stamp set that I got last year but didn't get around to inking it up before moving on to Christmas cards. It is the Autumn Scarecrow set from Papertrey Ink and I just think this scarecrow is absolutely adorable! I masked him off so I could add a few of the pumpkins from the set around him then colored in a simple empty field and hedge of trees behind. It's definitely clean and simple but it makes me all kinds of happy. :)
Ok, time for me to get busy... so much crafty stuff to get done before the start of the new month! ;)

Wave that wand like you mean it...
Hey all!
I'm back with another guest design post for the September release at Craftin' Desert Divas! Today's featured stamp set is called Holiday Fairies and it is full of magical holiday fun. Just like the Doxie Duos yesterday, this set spans through all of your fall and winter card making. So continuing on with Halloween cards first, I inked up this sweet Witch Fairy using desert sand ink and did a bit of no-line coloring. I also masked her flying kitty friend into the scene for extra cuteness. Then I just used my Copic markers to color in an eerie green sky and a glowing moon along with some spooky trees to frame in the scene. The checkerboard pattern was also drawn in by hand and I really like how it helps make it look like that fairy is flying right out of the background. Another crochet flower from my sister and a sprinkling of ebony black Nuvo drops help pull the design all together.
Now you can find more Holiday Fairies enchantment from the talented Craftin' Desert Divas design team over on the CDD Blog or check out the Craftin' Desert Divas Gallery group on Facebook. And the entire September release will be available at Craftin' Desert Divas tomorrow!

You do the tricking...
Hello, hello!
I've got a special Sunday post today because I'm excited to be guest designing for the September release at Craftin' Desert Divas! Today is actually day 2 of sneak peeks and we are featuring the super cute Doxie Duos stamp set. The great thing about this set, besides the darling doxie, is that it spans from Halloween all the way to Christmas and winter cards, making it really versatile. For my first card featuring this set I inked up the Witchy Doxie and did a bit of masking to include the little candy pail accessory stamp and sentiment as well. My most favorite doxie in the whole wide world is my friend Tracey's sweet girl, Pickle. Pickle is a beautiful all black mini and whenever I have a doxie stamp to color she tends to be my inspiration. The all black coat really lent itself to this Halloween scene quite wonderfully. So instead of coloring the entire front of the card into a scene I thought it would be a fun change of pace to color in my own frame around a smaller, more contained scene. I really love how this turned out and how it left me with some white space that I could then play around with a bit by stamping some extra spiders into.
To see even more Doxie Duos cuteness from the talented Craftin' Desert Divas design team just head on over to the CDD Blog or check out the Craftin' Desert Divas Gallery group on Facebook. I will be back tomorrow with another CDD sneak peek so I hope you come back to check that out!

Laugh everyday...
Hey friends!
Just a quick weekend post to keep trying to get caught up on posting all of the extra cards I have made for TGF releases this year. Just like last weekend, I've got another pairing of a cutie from the Feels 2 set and the awesome Doodlebug Hello paper and die cuts. This silly girl blowing raspberries seemed totally adorable to me, thus the choice of die cut sentiments. It was a fun change up from my usual go-to of coloring in a scene to pull out a pack of die cuts instead and put together a little collage of images to to be her home. I think it turned out really girly and adorbs so I couldn't be happier with this card. :)
Hope you have a crafty weekend!

Hey Pumpkin...
TGIF my friends!
It's hard to believe but here we are at the 21st already and that means we have a new challenge over on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page. The new theme is "PUMPKINS". I can't help but think of Halloween when I see pumpkins so that's exactly where I went with this card. And with a theme like pumpkins how could I not color up Pumpkin Patch Prue one more time? This time around I paired her up with not only the pumpkin patch but the spooky tree and full moon as well... talk about taking all of the guess work out of a scene. I also wanted to go a bit darker and spookier with Prue on this card, which was a lot of fun. I gotta say, I love seeing how Prue and her witchy sisters transform with everyone's different color choices... it's quite magical! :)
Ok, so now it's your turn to go find some pumpkin themed stamps, paper or embellishments and get creative with us! The "PUMPKINS" challenge only runs til the end of the month as we will be shifting gears with the challenges come October. And as always there is a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store to be won!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Catherine Pooler

It's snuggle season...
Olo!
So have you seen this year's Simon Says Stamp exclusive set from The Greeting Farm? It is called Winter is Here and it is SUPER CUTE! The stamp/die bundle has already sold out but there are stamp sets still available. Though if past years are any indication they won't be available much longer, LOL! Winter is Here includes these two cute kiddos, a Christmas tree, two hedgehogs, some sentiments and random little accessory stamps like a candy cane, ornament and some snowflakes. For my card today I masked the little boy so that I could stamp the girl nice and close, like she is coming in for a hug. Then I added the snowflakes and sentiment to tie it all together. :)
Now run over and grab your set before they are gone for good!
Supply list:

Grateful for you...
Mornin' folks!
So yesterday I shared my card using the lovely Uptown Zodiac Girl Virgo and now it is time to see how a few small tweaks when coloring can really add to the versatility of these stamps. This is actually the third month in a row that I have ended up with a very different version of the stamp without it requiring much altering. In fact Virgo is stamped as is, all of the changes I made where done totally with my Copic markers and some selective cropping. For this card I wanted to transform Virgo into a trench coat wearing Fall beauty so that I could enter her into this month's Bellarific "Hello Autumn" challenge. To do that I just used my brown markers to create the lapels, belt and pockets that help transform her dress into a coat. Another simple change was done by choosing a very dark brown hair color for her so that I could simply color over most of the flowers in the original image's hair. Then all I had to do was grab the wonky scallop square die and cut her off mid thigh to get rid of the rest of the gown. No big tricks or manipulations, just a few easy tweaks that make all the difference! :)
Have a good one my friends!
Supply list:

Birthday star...
Hiya folks!
I'm continuing on with my personal challenge to create birthday cards for each of the Stamping Bella Zodiac Girls today. Miss Virgo is the latest star sign sweetie to get inked up and show off all her earthy loveliness. Virgo is the sign of the Virgin and she is reserved, modest, practical and industrious. She's analytical and seeks to know and understand. Her signature colors are navy blue and gray, the classic colors of refinement and taste. I kinda struggled with this one a bit, only because her grey dress was looking way too much like a wedding dress. That's when I grabbed my trusty B37 Copic and added the blue trim until I was much happier with her look. The flowers in her hair then inspired me to color in an entire field of flowers for her to be standing in. Once again, the sentiment is a mix of stamps with the top being from the Papertrey Ink Stargazer sets and the description is included with Virgo herself.
Tomorrow I will have the altered version of Virgo and I'm quite excited to share her so you won't want to miss that! ;)

Both thanks and giving...
Good morning!
Just a quick little post before I fly out the door... I have had this adorable Acorn Sisters stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps since late last Fall but it was just a little too late in the season and I didn't get them on a card. There was no way that I was going to let another year go by without inking them up. So when I saw the new Thankful and Grateful challenge go up on the Honey Bee Facebook group I knew this was the perfect time to get them on a card. I stamped them on vintage cream cardstock with rich cocoa ink and I love the softness that lends to the over all scene. This one was really worth the wait because I adore how it turned out. :)
Ok, gotta run!

Hello friend...
Hello, hello!
I'm jumping back to the August Greeting Farm release with this catch-up card I'm posting today. This little phone obsessed girlie is part of the Feels 2 set and I knew she could carry an entire card design all on her own, especially when I had these Doodlebug Hello papers and die cuts in my crafty stash just waiting to be paired up with her. So I grabbed a bunch of the die cut pieces and clustered them together to create a home for her as well as help tell the story. Plus, it made the whole card making process come together super quick which is always a bonus. :)
Later gators!
Supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Catherine Pooler
paper- Doodlebug (Hello)
stamps- The Greeting Farm (The Feels 2 set)

hair- C5, C7, C9, 100

For my card today I really wanted to take the original Trick or Treat set along with the new Trick or Treat 2 set and mix up all of those costumed cuties into one big group shot. Talk about a fun and happy card, how can you not smile with all those little faces staring back at you? :)
Ok, I won't keep you any longer... go enjoy the hop!
