May your fields always be filled with wildflowers...

TGIF!

Here's another card that I had made for last weekend's Enchanted Spring clear release at Sweet November Stamps. This is SN Gal Sorrel and she is our pretty flower gardener, sportin' her cover-alls and sun hat. She pairs perfectly with the  Horizon Lines: Wildflower Meadow background set as it quickly creates fields full of gorgeous blooms for Sorrel to add to her basket. The sentiment is also part of the Wildflower Meadow set and it really was the perfect finishing touch for this card. :)

Have a great weekend!

Hope, joy and new beginnings...

Olo!

It's been a long while since I've colored up one of the adorable Dreamerland Crafts images from my crafty stash so when I found this pair all stamped and ready to go I dove right in. The stamp is called Growing in Love and the whole tree planting theme had me thinking of Earth Day, which is coming up on Monday. It also felt like they were waiting all this time on my desk for the perfect background stamps to help set the scene. I paired them with both the new Horizon Lines: Wildflower Meadow set and the older Autumn Cottages set from Sweet November Stamps to create this sweet homestead overflowing with beautiful Spring blossoms. Don't they look so happy adding a bit more green to the world?  :)

Alrighty, well thanks so much for stopping by today!

Count your rainbows...

Hello, hello!

I'm up on the Hello Bluebird blog with a cute card celebrating the April showers that come this time of year with this sweetie from the Singing in the Rain set. She just has so much joy about her that I created an after the storm kind of scene for her to live in, borrowing builder elements from a handful of other sets from the shop. I began by stamping in the little girl using Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then placed a mask over her head so that I could stamp the hillside from the Storybook Friends set behind her using the same ink. I didn't ink up the entire image because I wanted to create my own path for the scene and I also stamped it twice to add a few more trees to the background. Next, I borrowed the puddle from the Puddle Play set and stamped it using Lawn Fawn Jellyfish ink just below her foot. I also used the Jellyfish ink to stamp the clouds from the Singing in the Rain set up in the sky. Finally, I added flowers from both the Bear Family and Storybook Friends set all around. With the majority of the scene in place, I could then grab my Copic markers and start coloring. I gave this happy girl the classic yellow rain coat and rubber boots so she would stand out like a ray of sunshine after the storm has passed. Up in the sky I colored a rainbow going into the clouds because I already knew which sentiment I was going to use from the Rainbow Script set. I then began mapping out the scene by sketching in a meandering path that winds from one side of the card to the other. Once everything was all colored I completed the scene by adding a tree die cut from the Winter Birch Scene die. It was just the finishing touch that this cheery card needed.  :)

Toodles!

Say it with flower... fairies!

Good morning!

Today wraps up most of the Enchanted Spring clear release celebration at Sweet November Stamps. It's the last day to participate in the Instagram hop for a chance to win all 10 new stamp sets and you've only got through tomorrow to join the YouTube hop for that second chance at winning the entire release. The exclusive limited time digital bundle deal also disappears at midnight tonight, it includes the entire Enchanted Spring release as digital images for $70.

The shopping incentive for this release is receiving both of the 2x3 Monthly Flower Fairies, Daisy and Lily of the Valley, absolutely FREE (while supplies last) when you spend $75 or more. These super cute fairies are the start of a year long collection that will showcase all 12 monthly flowers as magical little fairies so I really wanted to share the cards I made with them before the supply runs out.

First up is April Daisy Fairy and she is such a happy looking little fairy with her big floppy daisy hat. I just love her big, beautiful eyes and that cheeky grin. I've paired her with one of the big floral corners from the Enchanted Spring Flowers set as well as the flying ladybug. The sentiment is an older one from Papertrey Ink and with it celebrating April birthdays specifically, it was too perfect not to use here.

We've also released May Lily of the Valley Fairy who is looking quite stylish in her long duster made of leaves. For her background I inked up the other large floral corner from the Enchanted Spring Flowers set and this time it was the little crawling ladybug who joined the party. Another birthday sentiment set from Papertrey Ink, this time celebrating the month of May, was also added to complete this sweet card.   :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you've enjoyed this new release!
