Good morning!
I'm just popping in real quick today to share the other card that I colored during the September Vault release Lives. For this card I paired Boo Loves Scary Larry with Midnight from the Witchwee Beatrix bundle and the spider web from the Witchwee Agatha bundle. I think they come together quite nicely to create a lovey dovey kind of Halloween card. Today is the last day to grab the Vault release digis because once the new release goes up in the store tomorrow these little Boos will disappear once again. :)
Alright, I have really got to get down to business today... loads left to to in preparation for tomorrow's big Sweet November release party at 7 Kids. Hope to see you there!

Spooky hugs...
Hello, hello!
It's time for another Scenic Saturday card over on the Bellarific Blog. With October only days away I figured it was time to get my spooky on with a fun Halloween card. My initial plan was to grab either Willow the Witch or some of the Halloween Little Bits but as I flipped through my stamps Tiny Townie Dorothy the Dreamer caught my eye. What if that furry friend behind her wasn't imaginary but a real life fantastical beast who is helping this little witch to do her spell studies? That seems pretty Halloweeny to me, LOL! So I stamped them up and then added a few scene builders from the Little Bits Haunted House Outdoor Decorations to help up the magic factor in this scene. All that was left to color in was her wand, some potion bottles and of course a spooky glow coming from the pages of the spell book Dorothy is reading. No altering was needed to transform this image into something with a bit more spooky cuteness, all it took is some creative pairing with other, more seasonal stamps, and a color palette that brings to mind Halloween festivities. So keep looking at your stamps with fresh eyes and who knows what clever and creative ways you will find for them!
Stay crafty my friends!

A spooktacular Halloween...
TGIF!
I'm popping in with one of the Boo cards that I colored up last week during the Sweet November Vault release Lives at 7 Kids. This little ghostie spiriting away pumpkins from the pumpkin patch is called Boo's Pumpkin and once again I paired him with the pumpkin patch background builder that was released last year and will be going into the Vault on October 1st along with the Boos. I also added the witch's hat digi that we added for free in the store to turn that pumpkin into a witch o'lantern and I think it makes for a fun interaction between these two.
Well, that's it from me today, have a great weekend!
Boo's Pumpkin supply list:
cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It
digital stamps- Sweet November (Boo's Pumpkin, Halloween Background Builder set, free witch hat)
Simon Says Stamp Halloween sentiment strips
My Favorite Things A2 stitched rectangle stax set 1
Sakura stardust glitter pen
Martha Stewart bat stickers

Nine lives...
Olo!
I'm still playing with the Dreamerland stamps from the summer release and many of them can still be found at 7 Kids. Even though this darling stamp technically released as a summer image, because the nature of it seemed suited for an indoor scene I figured I could make it work for a fall card quite easily. The stamp is called When I Look Into Your Eyes and it captures that sweet bond between a girl and her kitty perfectly. I decided to color them in front of a big window that overlooks the neighbor's house and all the beautiful fall foliage surrounding it. It's one of those perfect fall days full of sunshine and bright, happy colors but neither of these cuties really notice because they only have eyes for each other. :)
Alrighty, it's back to the grind for me. Catch ya later!

It's all so magical...
Hello, hello!
I'm over on the TGF blog today with a fun Halloween card. I'm so excited to have gotten the brand new Spellbinding kit in the mail earlier this week and I couldn't wait to get it inky. The pre-orders are still shipping out and I've heard that there may even be a few extra kits in the TGF store once those all go out. But grab them quick because once they are gone they won't be restocked any time soon. I can't get over how spooky cute all of these little Beans are and the versatility of the set lets you easily create Halloween cards or cards inspired by our favorite boy wizard and his friends. For my first card using this new kit I decided to go with a Halloween card so I did a bunch of masking to put the hat on my adorable witch and to also place her on that hefty spell book. Of course she had to have her magic potions and her ever faithful familiar as well. From the look of things she has been quite busy practicing her spells. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a crafty day!

Tinsel in a tangle...
Hello again!
Still no time to color and still fighting this chest cold but I'm hanging in there. Because no new card was made to share today I've pulled this cutie from the recent Stamping Bella release and am getting it up here on the ol' blog. Technically this stamp is called Bundle Girl Skater with Penguins but I think it can easily work for either gender depending on what colors you choose to use on it. Personally, I saw him as a little boy and dressed him in deep blues and winter greens to really bring that look home. The Skating Rink Backdrop from last year's holiday release was the perfect scene to pair with these novice skaters and I ended up extending the scene a bit by coloring in a snow covered mountain range further back in the distance. The sentiment is from the new Holiday Fun sentiment set and is always a personal favorite. Not only can the new holiday stamps be found at Stamping Bella but 7 Kids has a nice variety of them as well so be sure to check them out!
Toodles!

You put a spell on me...
Good morning!
I seriously need a few more days added to September because I am SO behind on so many things right now that it's not even funny. Add to that a chest cold settling in and I've got the makings for a pretty miserable week. Let's hope it doesn't get that bad and I can cross things off my to-do list quickly. With everything that's going on I had zero time for coloring yesterday but I was saved since I hadn't shared this card from the Sweet November release day Lives yet. We colored this up back on the second and had a fun time pairing up a bunch of different elements from several of the Witchwee bundles. Little Beatrix and her pal Midnight have cast a spell on that happy jack by the look of things. There is still time to enter your SN projects into this month's challenge in the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook group. Everyone who plays along gets an exclusive SN digi and a shot at winning the entire October release!
Ok, I've gotta go take some Dayquil and get this day started... laters!

More wagging and less barking...
Hello again!
I bet you are surprised to see me posting on a Sunday and with a non-DT card no less. Well, today is the last day to enter submissions into this year's Card Design Superstar contest at My Favorite Things and I decided to throw my hat in the ring once again. It's been a few years since I've participated and I wasn't even really sure if I was going to join the fun this time around either but I got the idea for this card back in early summer and I could never make the time to put it together. I knew there would be a lot of masking as well as all the coloring of the different dog breeds if I wanted to do it right and do it well. That all seemed a bit overwhelming for just a card to post on any ol' day of the week. But once the contest was announced I had the perfect incentive to sit down and bring this idea to life. Being that I work with dogs and spend most of my days, walking, feeding and playing with all number of canine pals you can imagine I have an affinity for collecting cute dog stamps too. So I grabbed dogs from a bunch of the Birdie Brown sets and paired them with this casual cutie from the retired Birdie Brown Let's Hang Out set since she best reflects my work attire... very wash and wear, LOL! Then I just settled in and colored them all up and gave them an expansive dog park to be visiting, complete with an entrance sign that borrows it's sentiment from the Playful Pups set which seems to be retired now too. I gotta say, I'm really glad I finally got this one out of my head and onto a card and it came together even better than I had hoped.
So wish me luck, the talent in the Coloring Virtuoso category has set the bar extremely high!

I gotta say, I'm really glad I finally got this one out of my head and onto a card and it came together even better than I had hoped.
So wish me luck, the talent in the Coloring Virtuoso category has set the bar extremely high!

Have we got a Vault release for Boo...
Good morning!
It's time for the Sweet November Vault release at 7 Kids and this month we have brought back Boo the ghost who is way too cute to spook. There are three images in this release, each one featuring Boo in a different Halloween scenario. Because these are Vault images they are only available in the store for a limited time. Once October 1st hits these ghosties will be disappearing once again. You may also notice that each of my cards pair Boo with a different element from last year's Halloween Background Builder set. I did this not only because they make for cute scenes but also to announce again that because we have hit the one year mark on Sweet November digital releases, last year's digis will be retired and begin to go into the Vault too. So come October 1st the Halloween Background Builders and the Witch Please release will all officially go into the Vault.
So for my first card I've got Boo's Pumpkin. This darling little specter can be found haunting the pumpkin patch every October night leading up to Halloween. He is searching for only the biggest and best pumpkins out there because those special gourds make for ideal jack o'lantern carving.
Next we have Boo's Batty Banner. Boo is one spirit who knows how to lift spirits with the best Halloween party around. Ghosts and goblins, monsters and vamps all come from miles around to attend an epic Boo Bash! Once you enter Boo's happening haunted house the music is thrilling, the potion punch never stops flowing and the decor is always on point.
And finally we have Boo Loves Scary Larry. At the end of a long night of haunting there is nothing Boo loves more than to float back home and snuggle with his favorite stuffie, Scary Larry. Larry may be old and worn, with a bit of fraying at his seams but what doll wouldn't be after centuries of this kind of adoration?
Alrighty then, as usual we will be celebrating the release in the 7 Kids Customers Create facebook group all day today with games and chances to win free digis. I will also be doing Live coloring videos at 11am and 3pm PST so I hope to see you there!

Christmas memories...
TGIF!
We've finally made it, after a whole week of teasing sneak peeks the amazing Stamping Bella holiday release is now available in the store! There are so many great new stamps to choose from and add to your stamp collection it's hard to choose where to begin filling your cart. Between the festive gnomes, penguins and polar bears, Curvy Girls and brand new Bundle Girls there is definitely something for everyone.
My card today features the sweet Bundle Girl with Polar Bear image which captures this quiet moment between the big ol' bear and the teeny tiny little kiddo offering up this Christmas gift of friendship and love. I kept to a pretty limited color palette and just played with pretty purples and a glowing back lit light source to frame these two. Once the coloring was done I felt like the card could use a bit more embellishing to I added some sparkly twine and white Nuvo drops to mimic snow. :)
Alrighty then, have fun shopping and I will see you back here tomorrow with the Sweet November Vault release!

Christmas in the heart...
Hello, hello!
Here we are at day 3 of the Stamping Bella holiday release previews and today we are introducing a new Bundle Girl character in eleven different designs all being released on Friday the 20th. I will tell you right now that these Bundle Girls will melt your heart. I got to play with four of them and I had a hard time choosing which card to share here first, they are all so adorable. Ultimately I settled on Bundle Girl with Penguin, primarily because I've already shared two cards with winter night scenes and I wanted to break things up with a bright day lit scene. And seriously, how cute is this little sweetie with her extra long scarf and warm, fuzzy coat and hat? Then you add in that funny penguin hitching a ride and this image just makes you smile. I chose a fairly neutral color palette for the majority of the card so that the winter berries she is carrying would really pop. The sentiment is from the new Christmas sentiment set that is also part of this amazing holiday release. :)
Now you'll want to head on over to the Bellarific Blog and check out all of the beautiful Bundle Girl cards from my fellow Bellas and get yourself entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate !

Gnome for Christmas...
Hello there!
We are rolling right along with the Stamping Bella holiday release previews and today is all about the gnomes. There are 10 new holiday gnomes being released on Friday the 20th along with a coordinating Festive Gnomes sentiment set. My card today features Gnome with a Lantern and I paired him with the older Winter Backdrop stamp to help set the scene. Just like my card yesterday with the shining star I wanted to play up the glow of Santa Gnome's lantern. So I colored in another dark night sky that really helps accentuate the warm candlelight in contrast. I love that it looks like he is making his way back home after a night delivering presents.
Now you'll want to head on over to the Bellarific Blog and check out all the festive gnome cards from my fellow Bellas and get yourself entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate !

An unbelievable New Year...
Good morning!
I'm super excited because today kicks off week long previews of the new holiday release at Stamping Bella! Over the next four days we will be sharing cards featuring some of the 40 plus new stamps that will be available in the store on Friday the 20th. Today is all about the cute new Yeti character that has come to help celebrate the holidays, bringing with him his whimsy and magic. This release has caught him in a number of Christmas time antics and my card today features Yeti with a Star on Top where we find the big guy placing a star upon the highest bow of that Christmas tree. I really wanted that star to glow and look like it was filling this sweet scene with a magical light so I colored in a dark blue night all around Mr. Yeti then graduated to lighter hues as I worked in towards the star. The sentiment I paired with him is from one of four fabulous new sentiment sets and this one is called Yeti Sentiments.
Alrighty then, be sure to hop on over to the Bellarific Blog to see all of the amazing Yeti inspiration from my fellow Bellas and get yourself entered for a chance to win a gift certificate because I promise you are going to want it for this release!

Alrighty then, be sure to hop on over to the Bellarific Blog to see all of the amazing Yeti inspiration from my fellow Bellas and get yourself entered for a chance to win a gift certificate because I promise you are going to want it for this release!

Embrace your dark side...
Hi Friends!
I'm back today with a new card to help celebrate this month's Moonlight Whispers digital stamp release which is now available in Annie's Etsy shop. There are actually two new digital images being released today, the first was previously part of the Calendar Girls coloring stack and now Witch & Wine is her own digi. And the brand new digi image is this fa-boo-lous Mistress of Death. Annie is so great at straddling that line between cute and creepy with her Halloween images, making them such a delight to create with. When it came time to color her into a scene I knew that I wanted to play with light so not only did I elude to a window behind her with the patterning on the carpet but I also gave her a big, roaring fire off to the side. Because who wouldn't want to be warm and toasty while admiring their skull collection? LOL
Now while you are visiting Annie's etsy shop be sure to check out the new clear stamps that she also has available as well. Yep, that's right... clear stamps of Moonlight Whispers images are back! There is a 10% discount code you can use when you buy three or more products from the shop, just enter MOONBUNDLE when you check out. :)

All roads lead home...
It’s the 15th, and the SEPTEMBER Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! Our first set called MISS ANYA HELLO WINTER features 3 big Anyas all prepared to deal with the cooler weather in style, along with an adorable mini snowman! Next, we introduced some too-cute-to-spook characters in the TRICK OR TREAT 3 Set. Lastly, we showcased a set called MY CARE TEAM, which is not only perfect for get-well cards, but also for thank you cards to the nurses and doctors who take care of you and your family.
To
celebrate our release, we are having a short BLOG HOP. You have until SEPTEMBER 18th at 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each
Designer's Blog and The Greeting Farm Blog (letting us know you
completed the hop). The winner wins this entire release!
**NOTE:
Please use the same name on all the blogs when leaving a comment. Also,
please do not pick the Anonymous option when leaving a comment
(otherwise we won't be able to verify that it's you). Thank you!

THE GREETING FARM BLOG
This is a short hop, and definitely worth playing along! Of course, if you can't wait for the hop to be over, you can purchase these stamps HERE.

For my hop card I have made a sweet Christmas card using the short haired Miss Anya from the new Hello Winter set. I wanted this scene to feel like it is Christmas Eve and Anya has finally made it back home after a crazy day spent in holiday crowds and traffic. The relief of knowing that in just a few short minutes she will be surrounded by all the people she loves most in the world.
And as a bonus, I've also got a card using the Stamptember TGF collaboration set with Simon Says Stamp called, To All Of You. If you haven't seen the set yet it is full of adorable little penguins all bundled up for the cold. I had fun masking a bunch of them together to create a holiday march of the penguins. I don't know where they are marching to, perhaps a Christmas party, LOL! There are still sets available at Simon Says but don't wait too long to grab them because once these exclusive sets are sold out they are gone for good.
Alrighty then, thanks for stopping by and enjoy the hop!
