My Unbelievable Friend digi release!

Hello, hello!

We have a new digital stamp release at Sweet November Stamps out today. The My Unbelievable Friend collection is the perfect way to transition from mermaids to more general summer themes. There are four pairings of fantastical friendships to choose from as well a new digi sentiment that is in the store for free. You can find;  Peek-a-Boo, Joy Ride, Hello There and Helping Hand all in the store now.

For my first card I've colored up the Peek-a-Boo friends who are playing hide and seek above and below this old weathered dock. I filmed the coloring of this scene so if you would like to watch it come together there is a quick reel on Instagram and a longer speed coloring will be going up on the Sweet November Stamps Youtube channel soon.

Next, I created this cute card using the Joy Ride friends, where this sweet little mermaid is using her powerful tail to take her new friend in the floatie racing through the water. Even the little fish from the Something's Fishy clear set have stopped to watch this happy pair glide by. The sentiment is the new freebie that is included in this release.

Finally for today, I've made a magical mini slimline card using the Hello There pair of friends. I like to think that this little free diver was just diving down beneath the waves when she suddenly finds herself face to face with this cute mermaid who has swam up from the deep to greet her.

Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more My Unbelievable Friends besties from the rest of our talented design team. Also, don't forget, I will be coloring the Helping Hand duo Live today at 11am PDT over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!

It's a mermaid party...

TGIF my friends!

This past holiday season we released the Christmas Merwees digi collection at Sweet November Stamps. At the time I mentioned that a lot of the images could be repurposed into birthday cards just by choosing different colors. Now with the recent release of the clear Merwee Party stamp set, it is even easier to do a bit of mixing and matching to really expand the types of under the sea birthday scenes you can create. I already had the cute McCallister and Kate already printed out with the cave opening from the Ocean Background Builder set so all I had to do was mask off Kate and the walls of the cave before stamping the kelp and jellyfish banners across the opening. This simple addition really ups the whole party atmosphere, especially when combined with the bright and cheery color palette.

Alrighty then, I'll see ya all back here tomorrow with a brand new digi release!  :)

Just for you...

Hello again!

I'm here with a quick post to finally share this card that I colored up Live last month for the May Flowers digi release at Sweet November Stamps. This pretty gal is Mary Kate with her beautiful bouquet of roses and daisies. As you can see, we ended up playing with a whole kaleidoscope of colors and even added a playful floral print to her ruffled top. For the background I did my best to create a bokeh type effect in the trees behind her. All in all another fun and hopefully informative coloring session.

Have a good one!
