Hey everyone!
As promised, I'm back for another RAD preview from The Greeting Farm! We are so excited to bring you a preview of a brand new new 4x6 set featuring a Miss Anya AND a My Guy Ian! "Later Sk8R" is an adorable and hip new pair of stamps (with sentiments and accessories) that will be available for purchase beginning on Sunday, August 1st! It's been quite a while since we've seen either one of these beloved characters in rubber so the BUZZ is all about the Farm that this is one FUN set!
Once again we are teaming up, Farmers and Team Anya alike for another sample soiree! And today our cards are also made using a FABULOUS Saturday Sketch challenge by Pam!
I stamped both Anya and Ian on my card and once I had them on the paper it looked to me like the two of them had been through a bit of a quarrel and it was time for them to kiss and make up... and I knew just the Kids Quote sentiment to use. :)
Be sure to head on over to Club Anya & Friends for all the details of how to play along this week, and be sure to visit ALL the DT's blogs because ONE LUCKY COMMENTER on the Club Anya and Friend's blog today will WIN THIS SET!!!
Our awesome DT 'force' is waiting for you:

My girl Friday
Hey, hey!
Are you ready for another Club Anya & Friends August preview? I thought you might be! :)
We're kicking off three days of fun right now and first on the scene are two new Creepy Crew girls named Tuesday and Friday. My card features the little hip hoppin' cutie, Friday. I love her wild hair and I just know she is listening to some rockin' Glee tunes on those sweet headphones, LOL! ;)
Now you know we couldn't just tease y'all with these creepy cuties and not have a chance to win some too?! That's right, Team Anya and the Farmer's are joining up for a bit of an informal hop and there are a couple Tuesdays and a couple Fridays hidden on some of the blogs. So if you've come here from Cindy's blog you are right on track and if not then head on over to CA&Friends for a full blog hop list. Just consider it good practice for the HUGE customer hop coming up on Sunday to celebrate TGF's 2 year anniversary! :)
Next you'll want to check out Jessica's blog for even more preview goodness! Then come back tomorrow to do it all again and see a fabulous new set with even more chances to win! Supply list:

Christmas in July
Hello, hello... how y'all doing?
Here we are with a brand new challenge at Lil Lolita Boutique and this week we are celebrating Christmas in July! LOL, I know... I know... it felt a bit odd at first to be putting together a Christmas card with snowflakes on it when the thermometer outside is nearly hitting 100 degrees. :)
But it was pretty fun to see how I could take a Lil Lolita and make her work for the holiday theme of the challenge. I went with 30's Lylah because I thought her attire had a very Dickensian flair to it... where's that Tiny Tim when you need him? LOL! Anywho, I did throw in a bit of altering by drawing a new gift bag for Lylah to hold rather than the purse she originally had but that's it... nothing crazy I swear! ;)
So if you've gotten your Lil Lolita stamps why not take the challenge and see what kind of Christmas cards you can create with them? Each week the winner gets a fab prize from the Tickled Pink store and that winner could be you! I can't wait to see all the Lil Ladies get their holiday groove on! Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and PTI
paper/transparency/tags/flowers- Making Memories
stamp- Tickled Pink (Lil Lolita 30s Lylah)
Colorbox dark brown chalk ink
buttons
EK Success gold pen
Copic markers:
skin- E000, E00, E11, R20, R24

clothes- N3, N5, N7, N9, R24, R27, R29, E09, YG63, YG03, YG17, E40, E41, 0

Wednesday challenge at ATS
Morning!
Are you ready for a brand new challenge over at ATS today?
This week we want to see you create a double pocket card. At first I was a bit intimidated by this one but it wasn't that hard at all... because of all the pockets going on though I decided to keep the stamping to a minimum. That's were Bumbles came in... small enough to fit on a tag but cute enough to still make a statement. ;)
Now it's your turn and remember, every week there is a new and exciting prize being offered and in order to be eligible to win, your card must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps store. Whether it is any of our wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries, the choice is yours. Then be sure to link up your creation with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10pm est and only one entry per person please!
Thanks for stopping by! Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill
paper- My Mind's Eye (floral, hot pink), Making Memories (light pink)
stamps- Sweet November (Bumbles from Darby and Bumbles set), Hero Arts (sentiment)
ink- Memento rich cocoa and Colorbox dark brown chalk ink
ribbon
Making Memories flower
button
Prima leaf
Pebbles icandy glitter dots
tag
Martha Stewart border punch
Copic markers:
bumbles- W3, W5, W7, Y13, Y15, Y17, BG000

A very FLIRTY preview
Hey there Anya fans!
Are you ready for some August previews? I thought so, LOL!
Before we get all giggly and flirty though, I'd like to take a moment and bid a fond farewell to the lovely Donna, our July guest, and give a big warm welcome to Kristy Young who is joining us as August's guest designer over at Club Anya & Friends! :)
So as you've probably deduced, there is a new Anya joining the ranks and this gal is super cute and totally flirty! She looks like she would be a lot of fun to hang out with don'tcha think? The kind of friend who has a knack for talking you into those wild and crazy adventures we all find ourselves in from time to time. ;)
We also have Traci's color challenge for WCW today and this is my take on her maroon, orange and aqua color combo. I gotta admit that I went heavy on the orange and aqua and really let Anya's hair represent the maroon portion of the combo. :)
Alrighty, now you'll want to be sure and check out the rest of the flirty goodness that the gals have created over at CA&Friends... as always there is loads of inspiration to be found there!

Just another manic Monday
Hola!
Well after all that Halloween fun it's time to get back into summer mode with my card for Maire's Monday Mania challenge over at CA&Friends. It's a nice and easy one this week to use ribbons and/or bows on a card. Seeing as how I've probably got enough ribbon to wrap myself up like a mummy (LOL) it's always good to have an excuse to use a little now and then. ;)
For my main image I did a bit of altering by adding DeeDee's head to Summer's body... I just love how she came out, perfect for a day at the park during summer break. Seriously, head swapping is always an easy way to change things up and get even more mileage out of your stamps. :)
Alrighty then time for me to get to work on things... told ya this week was going to be busy!

No tricks... all treats!
Mornin' friends!
Thanks for coming back to check out the third and final day of Sweet November August previews... I really hope you've enjoyed these costumed cuties! I gotta say, making all of these Halloween cards has been so much fun and I'm totally anxious for fall to creep up on us now, LOL! Ok, ok, time to meet today's kiddos... and you didn't think we could do Halloween without a little witch did you? ;)
This darling little witch has more spunk than spook in her demeanor and this Halloween the trick is on her when she is surprised to find a hoot owl perched for a visit on her hat. He just better not expect her to share any candy! :)

Like a bag full of candy...
Hello, hello!
Welcome back to day 2 of the Sweet November August release previews! You've all been so great about giving Princess and Pumpkin a warm welcome and I hope you like today's trick or treaters just as much! So what are we waiting for? Let's get to know these little kiddos...
Stomp, stomp, grrr, roar! All of the other trick or treaters better make way for this oh-so-fearsome dragon on Halloween night. And let's hope that all of the houses on the block are well stocked on sweets because everyone knows that the best fire breathing prevention is a big piece of bubble gum! :)

Is it too early for some Halloween candy?
Good morning!
Thanks so much for stopping by... today is an exciting day as we are kicking off the Sweet November August previews! Now I know talking about Halloween in the midst of a hot summer heat wave may seem a bit out of place but I'm hoping these little sweeties will have you feeling the crisp cool breezes of October and hearing the crunch of leaves underfoot. ;)
If you were around during Easter you may recognize these kiddos but now they have lost the bunny suits and are all dressed up and ready for some Halloween tricks or treats!
First up is Pumpkin and all of the neighborhood jack o'lanterns with their funny faces all a-glow each look up to this adorable little pumpkin. With curly vines and the brightest smile, Pumpkin is definitely the pick of the patch!

SURPRISE!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESS!
I hope your birthday is as wonderful as you are! Thanks for always being there and helping to make TGF such an amazing place to be! :)
That's right gals, we are having a surprise birthday blog hop to celebrate Jessica's big day and in honor of this special occasion Marie has generously offered a prize of Creeper Monday and Creeper Wednesday to one random commenter wishing Jessica a Happy Birthday on the CA&F blog! You have until Sunday night at 8:00 pm CST to get your comments in and the winner will be announced July 26th in the Monday Mania post over at CA&Friends.
So if you've arrived here from my fellow Club Anya DT member Kim's blog then you're right on track, if not go to the CA&F blog for the entire Blog Hop list. Your next stop is over to our fabulous Farmer Cindy Haffner's blog to continue Jessica's birthday hop! :)
Sweet November spotlight on Donna
Hello and good morning!
Well here we are getting close to the beginning of a brand new month and that means Sweet November Stamps previews are about to begin! It also means that I've got August's SN guest gal to introduce you to before we dive into those candies we all love! ;)
Now without further ado let me introduce you to the one and only Donna Mikasa! You know the saying, "good things come in small packages"? Well that comes to mind quite often when I'm enjoying a browse through her blog... Donna is a master at creating little cards that pack a big design punch! From her mini masterpieces and the beautiful coloring that she does with her stamped characters I always get a sense of sweetness in all of her work. She has been a friendly and encouraging voice throughout my Sweet November journey and I always love to see what she does with the SN cast of characters. :)
Ok, time for my favorite part of the spotlight... the crazy, fun SN questionnaire!
1) What color do feel represents your personality and why?
Brown. All shades of brown: tan, khaki, chocolate. I love the warm, comfy feeling from earth tones and the same feeling that I get from being with family and friends.
2) Is your style of dress/ home decor similar to your style of card making?
Definitely! My dress style is pretty simple and so is my cardmaking. I usually don't follow a sketch or play with patterned paper too much.
3) What one thing always puts you in a good mood?
When a card comes together exactly as I envisioned it, right down to the color of the buttons.
4) If you could visit any time in history when would it be?
I wish I could revisit the 70's. Life seemed simpler back then and I may have taken things for granted and appreciate everything more now--from family life to cooking, music, even crafting.
5) If you were a mythical creature ie. fairy, elf, mermaid, troll etc., what kind would you be and why?
Probably a troll. Sitting under a bridge. Collecting a toll. Being grumpy and loving it....
Bonus question
6) If you are a fellow Gleek, which character from McKinley High do you most identify with?
That would be Miss Emma Pillsbury. Because I'm always washing my hands and disinfecting everything, including the shopping cart at the supermarket.
LOL, Donna the troll... somehow I have a hard time envisioning that one. She's just way too nice to be a troll! :)
Okey dokey, time to share Donna's wonderfully happy card and how it inspired my card for today. Her cute Darby and Bumbles pairing with the clever sentiment had me reaching for this fun Cosmo Cricket paper that featured a bunch of little bees. Fidget Goblinspider also makes an appearance because of the similarity in hers and Darby's skirts. But my biggest inspiration came in the cool way that Donna used the ribbon off the side of the card and has it anchoring the sentiment tag and button embellishment. See, I told ya... she doesn't need much to make a statement, it's all in that perfect placement of what she does use on a card... SO inspiring!
Now don't forget to come back tomorrow when Donna and I will be kicking off three days of sneaks that are too cute to spook! ;)
Later gators!

A lil Lylah is always a good thing
Hey sweeties!
We've got a brand new challenge over at Lil Lolita Boutique today and this week we are playing with a color combo. Pink, purple and cream are the colors to use in any variation that you like. So if you've gotten your Lil Lolita stamps why not play along for a chance to win a wonderful prize from the Tickled Pink store?!
I used 30's Lylah on my card and chose to make cream the predominant color because I thought it would give her a soft yet stylish look. Seriously, it takes a lot of confidence to go with a white coat and not be afraid of getting it all grungy but if anyone can pull it off, it's Lylah LOL! ;)
Ok, I hope to see lots and lots of cards in the challenge this week and check back in the morning for August's SN spotlight!

I simply enjoy you
Good morning!
Can I just say that I feel like these last couple weeks of July are going to be a whirlwind of activity and craziness so if my posts get a bit shorter please forgive me... it's temporary I promise! :)
Today's card features the Kraftin' Kimmie mermaid Calliope and her little octopus dance partner. I always have so much fun coloring up these Moonlight Whispers characters and of course the new mermaids had me at hello! If you haven't guessed by now I'm a big fan of the fin, LOL! Yep, as much as I loves me some fairy magic I think I want to be a mermaid when I grow up. ;)
So I kept the card pretty simple as the pattern paper is kinda busy. There is only a few pearl sprays and a lovely bit of ribbon to embellish but I think it works. And that ribbon makes it so this card can be entered into the Beautiful Bows challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie's... always excited when I can find time to play along!
Thanks so much for dropping by... oh! Just a little heads up for ya before I sign off... Sweet November sneak peek candies for the August release will be starting up at the end of this week and I hope to see you there for all the fun! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and PTI
paper- Scrapbook Wizard
stamps- Kraftin' Kimmie (Calliope), Hero Arts (sentiment)

Romeo, oh Romeo...
Hello, hello!
So we've got a great new Book Inspired challenge for Monday Mania this week over at CA&Friends... brought to us by the amazing miss Elaine Hughes!
Let me just say that I had a hard time with this one. Not because I couldn't come up with an idea, on the contrary... I had so many different ideas and stories that I love it was hard to narrow things down to just one! In the end I had to stop, listen to my stamps and see who lent themselves the best to the theme. Surprisingly (for me anyway) it was my digis that stepped up to the plate. Normally my process just involves flipping through my stamp binders to find an image and my digis kinda get forgotten but this week my poor neglected Prince Ian digi was very insistent that he finally be colored up. ;)
Ok, ok settle down Prince, you're making it on the card... but what story would he tell? So I stopped and really looked at him, that's when it hit me! Romeo, oh Romeo... wherefore art thou Romeo? He art right there, LOL! And the bonus was that because he was digi I could shrink him to a smaller scale and have plenty of room on my card to create the entire balcony scene. Now I just needed his Juliet, and this was going to prove a bit trickier. I needed her to be digi as well so she could go small and Karate Anya stepped into the role with some moderate altering to her hair and clothes.
Once I had those two nailed down the rest of the card was easy peasy. I finally got to cut into some oooooooooooooold DCWV paper that I've had for ages because it totally reminded me of an old world structure with its arch looking border all around it. With just a few cuts, a copic colored doorway, some Prima flowers and a pop dot or two Juliet had her balcony. To complete the card I came across this Little Paper Shop sentiment and thought it couldn't be more perfect. Ahhhh, success... such a great feeling!
Ok, so that's the story behind my Book Inspired card, now it is your turn to get creative and take the challenge too! :)
Talk to you anon. ;) Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and PTI
paper- Karen Foster (floral), DCWV (beige crackle)
digi stamps- The Greeting Farm (Prince Ian and Karate Anya)
stamp- Little Paper Shop (sentiment)
Colorbox dark brown chalk ink
Prima flowers
Ranger Stickles
Zva tiny pearls
Copic Spica glitter pen

skin (both)- E000, E00, E11, R20

hair (juliet)- E44, E47, E49, 0

Just for fun
Howdy folks!
Got a quick post to share before I head off to work this morning.
I made this card purely for the fun of it because I wanted to use up more of this Vintage Blue card kit and play around with a bit of altering using some of my Lil Lolita stamps. So I took Ivy's head (minus her hat) and put it on Lilith's body. You can't see it real well in the pic but her eye line leads up to the sentiment that says 'happy birthday'. Add to that a lot of sparkly bling and I had a finished card. :)
Alrighty, told you this would be quick... have a lovely day! Supply list:
cardstock- Paper Trey Ink
paper/chipboard embellishment/rub-on sentiment- WeR Memory Keepers Vintage Blue
stamps- Tickled Pink (Lil Lolita Ivy and Lilith)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Colorbox dark brown chalk ink
Doodlebug and Kaiser Craft gems
Ranger Stickles

Big fun at TGF!
Good Saturday morning my friends, I hope the sun is shining on you wherever you may be! :)
It's hard to believe that just TWO short years ago Marie had a couple of 4x6 sets for sale, a brand new blog, and watched Pink Poison become The Greeting Farm. Two years later, after some big dreams realized (including a trip to Anaheim for CHA 2010!), after being SO blessed with the AMAZING designers that work their magic for us, and after truly befriending all of YOU...here we are!

Yep, a year ago (yesterday to be exact) A thousand sheets of paper was born and I would have never guessed at the time all of the amazing opportunities that would come my way because of it and all of the wonderful ladies I would get to know through blogging. :)YOU BET!

*ONE random commenter NOT participating in the hop will win the 4x6 set we will be previewing next week!
*In addition, there will be a BRAND NEW Birthday digi for sale!!!! and quite a few digital images given away as well. You know TGF-we LOVE our prizes and LOVE our customers even more!
