Olo!
Winter finally caught up with us the past few days, there's nothing like digging your car out from under several inches of snow early in the morning. If you couldn't tell, that was said in my best sarcastic tone. ;)
Oh well, I should just be happy it held off this late into the season. If I'm lucky this will be all we get and spring will be right around the corner... it is the last day of January after all.
Ok, whine about the weather is officially over. Moving on to my card for today... it's another Greeting Farm girlie from the Night Out set. This one is a bit fancier than the last one I inked up, what with her glitzy earrings and clutch. And since she looked like a million bucks I thought it would be clever to pair her up with that "thanks a million" sentiment. When I started coloring her it was with the intention of entering her into the red, white, and blue challenge but I just couldn't stick to that patriotic color scheme so I ended up finding that pretty blue floral instead. All in all, I'm liking how this one came together. :)
TGIF and have a great weekend my friends!

Reach for the sky...
Hey there!
Well, it looks like I'm going from one extreme to the other. Seeing as how my last card used a stamp that I've been holding on to for years while today's card features a stamp that I just got in the mail. Yep, this Skyward Anya showed up in my mailbox yesterday and as soon as I took her out of her packaging I ended up getting her onto a card. I confess that while I think Skyward is a cutie, I didn't know if I would use her much... I mostly got her for her body since with a head swap I think she'll make for a pretty winter attired Anya. So I surprised myself by actually using her as is this first time out. I even paired her up with the hot air balloon from the retired Fly Away TGF set, talk about a match made in stamping heaven, LOL!
Okey dokey, it's back to the ol' grindstone for me... TTYL! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Carta Bella (Cool Summer), Making Memories (green ledger)

Let's fall in love...
Good morning!
Can you believe I've had this Josephine stamp for years and this is the first time that I've colored her up? It seems like every year before Valentine's Day I've intended to get her on a card but it just never happened. So this time I made it a point to finally get this crazy cutie onto her own card. I paired her up with another older Basic Grey paper collection called Bittersweet, the big ol' paisley print and rich colors suit this gypsy well. I'm also entering Josephine into this week's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge, Love is in the air. I think she definitely fits the bill, what with those magic vapors wafting from her potion. ;)
Alrighty, time to see kind of trouble I can get myself into today.
Later gators!

Love you...
Hi guys!
I spent a chilly night just vegging at home yesterday and even found some time to get a bit crafty. I've had Dressy Mae printed out for quite a while now and there is something about her dreamy look that makes her perfect for a valentine. Forever and ever...
Olo!
I'm playing along in this week's Farm Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm and the theme this time is Love is in the Air. This is my first time coloring up Sweetie Bean and I gotta say, I'm in love with that hair... so much fun to color! Because she is a little Valentine's Fairy I thought I could get away with giving her a non-traditional hair color. Doesn't the berry red color make her look like candy? :)
The paper is old KI Memories and once I had it glued down there was something about it that made me want to add the black strip and have this card look kinda like a school notebook. Must be the doodle look to the print, I know I spent many a class doodling away on my notebooks during my school years. Anywho... a few little embellies and this card was done.
Well, I should get this day started. Thanks for stopping by!

Love was made for you and me...
Good morning!
It's review preview day over on the CCD blog and we are shining the spotlight on the new Valentine Birds and Bees stamps from Sweet November. For my card I used The Birds once again and this time around colored them up to look like a couple of Goldfinches. Love is definitely in the air with these two as they go about their aerial courtship. I'm still a fan of pairing yellow and grey together so I grabbed this great print from the Crate Love Notes paper pad. I think it makes for a lovely alternative to the traditional reds and pinks of most Valentine cards.
Ok, don't forget to check out the CCD blog for all sorts of lovey dovey inspiration from my teamies today. And all of the January stamps can of course be found right here in the CCD store! :)
XOXO!

Hello...
Hey there!
I used some Christmas money to get a few Sister Stamps and Mieko here was one of the new cuties that I added to my collection. The way she is posed I figure there are a lot of different things one could put in her hands and this time I altered her just a bit by adding a flower. The papers have been sitting on my desk for ages so while I was cleaning it off, I figured this was a good time to finally use them up... I even used a tiny scrap to paper piece Mieko's kimono. The end result just puts a smile on my face. :)
Well, I've got another long day ahead of me.
TTFN!

Melt with you...
Hello again!
It's the second weekend of Winter Fest here but we have no more snow and ice than we did last weekend so it's lookin' like this year is going to be a total bust after all. Still, I thought that I could at least make a winter themed card in honor of it, LOL! :)
I got my hands on a new-ish Pee Wee Designs digi stamp called Sweet Cupcake and thought she had a great winter time look. Sure she's all bundled up but with that thick hair of hers I'm not sure she even needs the beanie to keep warm. I paired her up with a new Timber Grove paper pad that I wanted to use before the cold season was completely over... those little snowmen were just too cute not to get on a card with her.
Ok, I should get a move on.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday...
Hey there!
I'm already running behind this morning so I'm going to have to make this a quick one. I've had this Dawn with Kitten image stamped and ready to go for a while now and I finally got her onto a card yesterday. I pulled that striped print from my scrap bag and used all of the fun, bright colors from it for Dawn and the scene she is living in. I like to imagine she got that sweet little fuzz ball as a very special birthday gift. :)

Hugs and kisses...
Helllo, hello!
I usually try to mix up the stamps I use on here from day to day but when I sat down to create yesterday, I couldn't resist playing with another one of the new TGF stamps I got this past weekend. This sweet little lady is part of the Miss Anya Night Out set and I had a hard time choosing which of the three to ink up first. I ended up going with the most casual looking one of the bunch because I thought she would pair nicely with this floral paper from Pebbles.
For some reason I had it in my head that these gals would be the same size as the Big Time Anyas but they are significantly smaller. They're actually about the same height as the old Miss Anya sets so I'm wondering if this means the Miss Anyas have gotten a permanent makeover? If so, I'm not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand I think this new style of Miss Anya is super cute and I am anxious to see more added to the TGF family. But on the other hand I'll really miss the old style sets as I loved getting new ones to play mix and match with each other. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens this year. :)
Okey dokey... take it easy!

The apple of my eye...
Good Monday morning to you all!
I was so excited to have my order of new Greeting Farm stamps arrive in the mail on Saturday, especially since it included the first SS Stamp Club stamp. And boy, is she a cutie! She's called Fairest and I'm not sure if she is a new style for TGF, but if you ask me she looks like a sweeter version of the Creepers. I went along with the whole Snow White look that she has going on, giving Fairest the traditional red, blue, and yellow ensemble. For some reason I wanted to have her out in the woods so I grabbed this Echo Park paper that is a new fave of mine. A couple of die cut birdie pals and this card was done in a flash. And since it is a rare card of mine that doesn't include a bit of bling I am also entering this one into the Farm Fresh Bling It On challenge this week. :)
Ok, time for me to scoot my boot... TTFN!

TTFN!

Hello...
Olo!
LOL, seems I spoke too soon about having some snow for Winter Fest... the sun came out yesterday and once again the ground is bare. What a weird winter this continues to be. Next weekend is when they usually have ice sculptures carved and displayed in the park but if this keeps up they will melt as fast as they are being carved.
Anwho, I was in the mood to color up a Gorjuss Girl yesterday and settled on this I Dream of Tennis girlie, minus the whole tennis thing. Originally she is holding a racket in one hand and a ball in the other but I just wiped them away before stamping and traced in the missing lines of her arm and hair. This made her a lot more versatile to create with and I went with a pretty, generic hello card for her to live in. The papers are a mix of Basic Grey and Simple Stories that I pulled from the one remaining stack of papers left on my newly organized desk. I just liked how soft and dreamy they looked together. A few additional flowers for her to hold and a couple chipboard hearts and this card was done. :)
Ok, it's off to work I go yet again.
Toodles!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Basic Grey (Fiction), Simple Stories (24/Seven)

All you need is love...
Good morning!
I got this new Hannah Hearts stamp in the mail yesterday and just had to ink her up right away... isn't she pretty? I was so excited to see the Moonlight Whispers stamps returning to Kraftin Kimmie's and when they had their Boxing Day sale I couldn't resist Hannah any longer. :)
This little girlie was made for Valentine's day cards so I paired her up with some papers from the Crate Love Notes 6x6 pad. As always, I love the little cut-a-part papers that make for quick and easy sentiments and put them to good use on this card.
Well, it's the first weekend of our annual Winter Fest in town so I should get a move on. I guess having a bit of snow for the festivities is a pretty good thing.
Have a great weekend everybody! :)

You're sweet...
Hi guys!
Well I managed to get my crafty room back into some semblance of post Christmas organization, so that's a good thing. But we also finally got some snow over the last couple days as well. Nothing piling up or anything but enough of the white stuff to tide me over for the year. ;)
My card making however is still leaning towards a decidedly spring time bent. I used the Princess digital stamp from Sugar Nellie on this one and found this lovely floral print when I was digging around my paper scraps. She's such a pretty little gal and now this princess looks like she is enjoying a stroll through the royal gardens... I can almost feel the sun shining.
Ok then, time for me to get ready for the day.
Later gators!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Glitz (pink), Sassafras (floral)

Hello friend...
Olo!
I've got a couple days off ahead of me and I really need to do a major clean up in my crafty room. All of the Christmas papers and supplies need to get off my table and be put away until it is time for holiday cards again. As it is now, I've only got like a 6x6 space clear enough to create on and that is just now conducive to me getting much done at the moment.
I actually made this card because I didn't want to try digging anything out from the clutter. This new Best Friends stamp set from MFT was right at hand so I decided to not fool around with any papers or anything, simply stamp a whole scene and go. No matching Copic colors to papers, I just did whatever I wanted to and the result is a very spring time looking card. I gotta say, the spring dreaming doesn't seem so far off here... we still haven't gotten any snow this year which is quite unusual. If it wasn't for the below freezing temps a person could think that we were closer to tulips and other green growing things than we really are.
One last thing before I go... CHA is coming up this weekend and I've been busy checking out all the new goodies being sneak peeked but I haven't seen any news about whether Copic will be releasing new marker colors this year. Anyone know if we can look forward to some new markers or not? I've still got a couple color families that I would like to see expanded so I'm remaining hopeful. :)
TTYL!

Birthday wishes...
Good morning!
Today I'm playing along in the first Some Odd Girl challenge for the new year called Tag, You're It. I've had Giddy Tia printed out for awhile now and I thought that a fun birthday card would suit her quite nicely. And the tag theme seemed to fit with birthday gift giving too so I grabbed a scrap of bright and colorful paper and turned it into a quick tag. As always I pulled my Copic colors for Tia from that striped paper and since I was doing a bit of stamping in the background I also pulled my ink colors from the paper as well. It's a pretty CAS design but I think the pops of color against the white background are the eye catcher here. :)
Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope your week is off to a great start.

The birds and the bees... and the candy!
Hello again!
We've got one more day of CC Designs January previews and it's all about the Sweet November Valentine stamps. The Birds and The Bees are buzzing and twittering during this season of love and you can see that the flirting has begun. Over in the rose garden lady bumble has caught her sweethearts eye and they are doing a lazy dance among the flowers, leaving a trail of golden pollen trailing behind them. And up in the trees Rockin' Robin has got his heart set on winning over his lovely lass with some fancy nesting yarn that he has found. From the look of things she is just as smitten as he is. :)
And there is some Valentine candy to be had by one lucky winner... check it out...
The Birds and the Bees candy kit includes; two Sweet November rubber stamps, twelve 6x6 sheets of BoBunny Crush paper, Prima flowers, Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, doilies, crochet flowers, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.
All you have to do for a chance to win the candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to the candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... I want everyone to be able to play along. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I will ship the candy anywhere in the world so everyone is encouraged to play! :) The candy will stay open through Friday, January 3rd and I will announce the winner on Saturday, January 4th.
Now you'll want to head on over to Sweet November Gal Tress' blog, love is flitting and flying over there! :)
Instead of using random generator I will be printing out names and tossing them in a hat SO if you leave a comment for the SN gal's blog, you will get an extra name in the hat... this will up your chances of winning the candy. Fun, fun, fun!
That's a wrap on the CC Designs January sneak peeks. There are even more Birds and the Bees previews over on the CCD blog today with another chance to comment and win so don't miss that as well!
