Hi... again...
Hey there!
It's time for me to do another Walk Thru Wednesday photo tutorial for the 7 Kids weekly email. Not only do we feature quick tips and tricks for your card making but we also feature stamps from the month's current Featured Vendor. This month flowers are the featured spotlight at 7 Kids so I chose to ink up this wonderful floral set from The Greeting Farm called With Love. What I love about this set is that you get a variety of individual flowers that with some clever stamping you can merge into endless configurations. Even though it is a pretty basic technique, masking stamps is something I do on a majority of my cards and I figured that sharing a step by step of my process couldn't hurt. So I hope you get the email and can check out how I built this bouquet of pretty flowers resting in a jar.
There are plenty more tips and tricks from my fellow team mates each week so if you haven't signed up for the 7 Kids newsletter yet be sure to do so on the store home page. And don't forget that you have until the end of February to take advantage of 20% off flowers when you use the code FLOWERS at check out. :)

Hi...
Hi there!
More catch up posting here on the blog today with another set from this month's Greeting Farm release. This time around it's those crazy little pandas from the Panda Plans set stealing the show. As soon as I got this set I remembered I had this scrap of fun bamboo paper in my stash so I decided to return to my scene building roots and created a background for these guys using pattern papers. The bamboo is old Imaginisce, the clouds are from October Afternoon and I kinda love how the two come together just like that to create a lush home for these hungry little pandas. I think that one on the end has had a bit too much to eat in fact! LOL
Ok, time for me to scoot my boot and get busy. Later gators!

Time to party...
Good morning!
I've got a big Sweet November release coming up at the end of the week so to free up time to make cards for it, I'm going to use these next few days to get caught up with the extra TGF cards that I still need to share here on the ol' blog. This one is from this month's release featuring the It's Your Birthday set. I figured that someone as excited and happy as this cutie needed some bright, fun papers to go with her. So I found these Bella Blvd prints in my scrap bag and they were perfect! Of course all my Copic colors were pulled to match and the end result is a high energy birthday card full of happiness and smiles!
Ok, time to get ready for work. See ya in 24!

New flower girls at Moonlight Whispers!
Hey there!
I'm back with a second post for the day because this month's Moonlight Whispers digital release is now available in Annie's Etsy shop! We are adding two new flower girls to the line-up and they are both just to-die-for cute. First up is The Thought of you Makes me Smile. This quirky cutie with her wild hair and big grin is playing in a field full of sunshine and happiness... and lots and lots of dandelions. She doesn't care if everyone thinks they are weeds because she thinks that her dandelions are the most beautiful flowers in the world. ;)
We are also introducing Bumble Kisses this month. This pretty little flower girl has found a shady lilac bush to rest in during her busy day of helping the bees pollinate the trees. And she's got nothing but love for her fuzzy little friends.
These two cuties are definitely my most favorite digis that Annie has come up with yet. Like I mentioned in my previous post... I'm a sucker for fairies and Thumbelina type flower girls so these two speak right to my fairy tale loving heart. :)

Wishing you all the best...
Hello, and welcome to the weekend!
I'm back on the Stamping Bella blog today with a fairy tale inspired scene card featuring the lovely Tiny
Townie Butterfly Girl Bess. It's not a secret that ever since I was a
little girl I have always been in love with fairies, mermaids and the
like. I was the kid reading old fairy stories and high fantasy books,
dreaming of magical worlds beyond our own.
That affinity for all things mystical now translates into a weakness for
fairy character stamps like the Tiny
Townie Butterfly Girls... I can't get enough of these beauties! I chose to ink up Bess
today because I thought she would pair well with the awesome Gnome
Backdrop stamp. For anyone who is wanting to try their hand at
coloring in scenes for their character stamps these Backdrops give you a
great jumping off point to work from, taking away the stress that a
blank sheet of white paper can sometimes bring with
it. By stamping everything in a light colored ink I could seamlessly
transition from the Gnome
Backdrop filling the center of my card into the distant hills in the
background as well as the dirt path and flowers that I extended in the
foreground myself. So if coloring scenic cards is on your list of
creative card making techniques to try, I highly
recommend checking out the various Backdrops
that Stamping Bella has to offer. They are a wonderful tool to have in
your belt as you set off on this leg of your creative journey.
Hugs!

I've got a spot in my heart...
TGIF!
Did you see that the newest Dreamerland stamps have hit the shelves at 7 Kids? So many cute new images and this Love My Puppy stamp is one of them. I paired these two sweeties with the older Mix and Match Window to create a quick and easy scene of them playing outside their home. All of the colors in the scene as well as the print I did on her dress were inspired by the pretty pattern paper that I pulled to use on the card. I think it gives this scene a sort of vintage flair to it. All in all I always enjoy creating a story with these cute Dreamerland kiddos and this card is right up there. ;)
Alrighty, I've got a big weekend to get ready for so I will see you back here tomorrow!

Let's monkey around...
Olo!
I'm running behind this morning so this post is gonna have to be super quick. But how cute are these Monkeys from CC Designs? There is just something about these happy little guys that had them leaping straight into my shopping cart at 7 Kids and onto a card as soon as they arrived. I really wanted to color them into a jungle canopy with all sorts of leaves and vines for them to be playing amongst. I did alter the little guy down below by wiping away the balloon he is originally holding. All in all this came together pretty close to how I saw it in my head. :)
Ok, gotta run... thanks for stopping by!

For a wonderful friend...
Hello, hello!
This month the featured vendor at 7 Kids is more of a featured category than vendor. For the month of February all items in the flowers category are 20% off when you use the code FLOWERS at check out. And wouldn't you know it but the With Love set from TGF just so happens to be part of the sale. Yesterday I did a Live coloring of this set over in the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook group and today I'm sharing the finished card. We went with a clean and simple design where all of the flowers and little flower fairies have been masked together across the middle of the card creating a pop of color against the stark black and white of the rest of the card. I added just a bit of sparkle with the tiny gems to finish the whole thing off. :)
Toodles!

Something magical...
Hey there!
As has become tradition I'm back today with my altered version of this month's Uptown Zodiac Girl. I have so much fun challenging myself to stretch the versatility of these stamps that at first glance may seem to have a more limited scope of use. Yesterday I shared my Aquarius card as is and now I have transformed her into the Fairy Queen Titania. It was her gorgeous Grecian gown that inspired me to go this route so I started my alteration by wiping away her upraised arm and urn before stamping then I used a Copic multiliner to draw in a simple line for her new lowered arm. Next I wanted to give her a glorious set of wings and I had just the trick in mind to accomplish that look. So I masked her off and grabbed the Tiny Townie Butterfly Girl Babette stamp, carefully inked up just the wings and stamped them right on top of her. Once I pulled off the mask Titania had the perfect set of wings and all I had to do to finish the card was color in a magical grove for her to hold court in. I gotta say... I couldn't be happier with how she turned out. ;)
Later gators!

Aquarius...
Good morning!
I am so close to completing my personal challenge to create a birthday card for each of the Stamping Bella Zodiac Girls and this month Aquarius is in the spotlight. Aquarius is the sign of the Water bearer and she is assertive, independent, progressive, analytical, original and inventive. She has strong dislikes and firm opinions. Her signature color is electric blue, the clear color of the sky. It's taken me a bit longer to get to Aquarius than I had originally hoped since I have a wonderful friend whose birthday was a couple weeks ago, right at the start of the Aquarius term, and I wanted to make this for her... hopefully she doesn't mind a belated birthday card. ;)
Tomorrow I will have the altered version of Aquarius to share so be sure to check back then!

TGF Design Team:
This is a short hop, and definitely worth
playing along! Of course, if you can't wait for the hop to be over, you can
purchase these stamps along with their coordinating dies HERE.
I couldn't wait to ink up I Heart You Anya once again, this time taking a cue from her big bouquet of flowers and coloring her into a peaceful pastoral scene. I also paired her with another one of the beautiful large sentiments that come in the It's Your Birthday set. It didn't take much more than that to create this pretty card. :)
Alrighty friends, go enjoy the hop!

It's you're birthday...
Hey there!
Are you ready for the third and final day of the Greeting Farm's February release previews? We are wrapping up previews with a fabulous new clear set called, It's Your Birthday. Not only does the set include two fun little birthday girls but it also has yummy macaroons, wrapped gifts and three beautiful scripty sentiments to choose from. I gotta say, as much as I love the entire set it's those sentiments that really put it over the top for me. It's Your Birthday will be available for purchase tomorrow, the 15th along with the other new stamp sets. For my card today I have done some masking and stamping to fill this entire tag with piles of delicious macaroons along with one of those great sentiments. I paired them up with more pretty papers from my stash and colored them in soft, vintage colors to match. Then I raided my ribbon bag and found the perfect satin bow to top it all off.
Now head on over to the TGF blog to see the beautiful birthday cards that my fellow Farmers have created, along with an extra card from me. I will be back tomorrow for the official blog hop and a chance for some lucky individual to win the entire February release! :)

Love you more...
Hello, hello!
We are back for day 2 of the Greeting Farm's February release! Next up we are introducing the lovely new I Heart U Anya single which will be available for purchase on the 15th along with the other new stamp sets. For my card today I stamped I Heart U Anya in desert sand ink for some no-line coloring. Because I had some time to actually get creative in my craft room with this one, I went through my neglected paper stash and found some pretty prints to pair with Anya. Even though I create a lot of scene cards these days, it's always fun to revisit my first love of mixing and matching papers. Plus I always enjoy the challenge of matching my Copics to my papers.
Now hop on over to the TGF blog and get ready to fall in love with all of the gorgeous I Heart You Anya cards from my fellow Farmers. I will see you tomorrow for the final day of sneak peeks before the big release! :)

If you're feeling blue...
Hello!
Are you ready for day one of the Greeting Farm's February release?! This month we are introducing the Panda Plans set which includes a bunch of tiny pandas and a handful of little sentiments to go with. These sweet pandas are doing a number of fun different activities making them perfect for both planners and cards. Panda Plans will be available for purchase on the 15th along with the other new stamps. My card today is definitely a departure for me... this is the first card that I've made in years that doesn't rely on my Copic markers! Instead I thought it would look cool to ink up the pandas in different color inks and just let them stand on their own creating a rainbow of panda happiness. :)
Now be sure to head on over to the TGF blog to see all of the super cute cards from my fellow Farmers using the new Panda Plans set, as well as an extra one from me. Then check back tomorrow for day two of previews. :) Supply list:

I like to party...
Good morning!
We are currently experiencing the cold and snow that so much of the country has been hit with in the last few weeks and to say that I am completely over it would be an understatement. So when it came time to make a card for today I remembered that I already had this Too Big Tia digi stamp colored from a previous SOG coloring challenge and she was just in need of a background. That look on Tia's face pretty much sums up my current attitude as I bundle up for work every day so I didn't have to look far for scene inspiration. I wanted to catch her at the end of a long morning of shoveling out a path through the fresh snow... tired and wondering if going out is worth all that effort. And it didn't take me long to find the perfect sentiment to sum that all up and finish off the card perfectly. Now all I can hope is that mine and Tia's snow shoveling days will soon be behind us. ;)
Stay warm everybody!
