Eat, drink, and be scary!

Hi guys!

I'm popping in with a quick post before I head over the mountains to visit my mom. Oh! And amazing news on that front... the kidney doctor has signed off on no more dialysis treatments! Yep, her kidneys are doin' their thing again which is just fantastic. I don't have to tell you that the entire fam is very, very excited. Not long now and I know she will be back home, healing yet healthy. :)

Ok, so onto my card... it's review preview time on the ATS blog and it is Sweet November's turn in the spotlight. I couldn't resist inking up the cranky looking Gobsmack again but this time I altered him a bit by trimming off his pitchfork and instead giving him a potion bottle to carry. The inspiration totally came from that great piece of paper that has rows and rows of spooky looking bottles and decanters on it. I love how it looks like he's a little imp raiding the witch's cupboard. ;)

There are plenty more spooktacular cards to get you in the Halloween spirit over on the ATS blog so be sure to check them out as well.

Gobsmack definitely has a mad scientist look to him - super cute Amy. And that is amazing, awesome and wonderful news about your mom!! I know she probably has a long period of rehab to get her strength back but she's made a tremendous milestone at this point. So happy for you and your family.

Amy, I am so happy to hear about your Mom! That is the best news I have heard today. Jerry is also smiling for her as well.. He knows from first hand expierence with his Dad how hard that whole thing is. So give your Mom a hug from us and tell her we are all still praying. I love your card as well. I think he looks adorable with all those potion bottles. It so reminds me of the Emperior last groove. Love that movies. :O) I a have to tell you however that your spiders creep me out. I am not afraid of spiders, but I don't really care for them and yours look all too real. lol.. Drive safe. Hugs, Lisa

I remembered seeing a post pop up in my blog list so I had to come and see if there was any news about your mom. I'm delighted for you all that your mom's kidneys are working again on their own. That must be such a huge relief! Let's hope her recovery will spiral up after this.
Great card. Love how you've altered your image.
