Pampered and Spoiled...

Hey there!

I've found myself with limited crafting time once again so when I did get a chance to sit down and create I needed something I could put together fairly quickly. There was no time for masking and building a scene, I needed that already done for me. It's these times when the large Anita Jeram stamps at Colorado Craft Company come in so handy! Like this cute kitty from the For Mom set, it fits perfectly in the smaller inside panel created when I die cut this doily lace frame from Mama Elephant, one impression and I had my entire scene right there, ready to color. Usually when given a fun quilt like this to color my tendency is to have a lot of pink but I wanted to change things up this time so I went with a yellow and grey combo on the bedding with pops of blue coming into the mix on the tea set and wall. I was a little worried that it wasn't reading as feminine as I would have liked... until I added that doily frame around the scene and then the whole card looked super girly, LOL! And even though this stamp set is technically geared towards Mother's Day cards I think this works great for a birthday card too. :)

Ok, gotta run... have a good one!
