We are shifting gears a bit with this week's digital stamp release at Sweet November Stamps... Something to Crow About. Two cute scarecrows, Sam Strawman and Sally Strawman can certainly be used on Halloween cards but they are also a lot of fun for creating darling fall themed cards. There is also a scene builder set full of pumpkins, jack o'lanterns and cornstalk that can go either way as well.
For my first friendly fall card I printed out Sam Strawman with his crow friends and some cornstalks behind him. To extend the farm scene into the distance even more I did a bit of masking and stamped in the Dreamerland Crafts: Farmland background along with the cow that comes in the set. The two came together quite nicely and made coloring it all in pretty quick and easy.
My second card follows the same playbook, this time making Sally Strawman the star of the show.
