Hey there!
It's day two of the Greeting Farm's
July release and we are introducing a new sentiment set for all those hard to make sympathy cards. Deepest Sympathy, with its various sentiments as well as floral and butterfly motifs, has everything you need to create simply elegant cards for those difficult times in life. It will be available, along with the rest of the release, on Thursday
the 15th. For my card today I went outside my comfort zone without a character or critter in sight. I kept the entire card monochromatic blues, even doing my stamping and coloring on a light blue card stock. Since I wasn't going for a realistic look on the flowers or butterflies I thought it would be pretty to stamp them with Versamark watermark ink and use white embossing powder on all that line work. I think it lends a delicacy to the overall look which is really pretty. Some simple coloring and a bit of sparkle was just enough to elevate the design without the card going too flashy. :)
Now be sure to check out the TGF blog to see the beautiful cards from my fellow Farmers using the new Deepest Sympathy set. Then I will see you back here tomorrow for day three of sneak peeks. :)
Toodles!
