Hello again!
I've got another card to share using stamps from the new Anita Jeram release at Colorado Craft Company. This set is called Time of my Life and it centers around this dancing cat duo, or should I say, Dirty Dancing cat duo... LOL! The original stamp includes both of their entire bodies as they preform the final lift in their dance routine but I wanted to re-create the scene where Johnny and Baby are practicing in the lake so I only inked the top half of the stamp and also wiped the ink away from the scarf on his neck before stamping. Then I colored in the water around them as well as the hills and forest in the distance, keeping it pretty monochromatic just like in the movie. I gotta say, I was chuckling the entire time I worked on this card, these stamps are too much fun!
Don't forget that the blog hop is still happening, simply leave a comment on yesterday's blog post and you will be entered into the blind drawing to win a new stamp set of your choice. The giveaway ends on July 3rd at midnight mountain time and winners will be announced July 5th on the 3C blog.
Toodles!
