Hi friends!
Of course I had to make a fun faux postcard for the new release at Sweet November Stamps and the Merwee Gabby Guppies were the perfect set to make that happen. I used two of the three Merwees included in the set, and have them chatting with each other at the bottom of the sea. I also took the cute octopus and stamped him up into the postage stamp space as a fun touch. The background was partially colored in by hand, the sand and sea and kelp. Then I created a mask to block that all off and used the Copic airbrush system to create the dark interior of the cave. The postal accents are a mix from The Greetery and the SN Year Round Post Marks, though I did alter the post mark by wiping away the sandals in the center and replacing them with a fish instead. I always have a blast coming up with these post card style scenes and can't wait to make the next one.
Thanks for stopping by!
