Oceans of love...

TGIF!

It was time to ink up another cute mermaid from the CC Designs Mermaid Party stamp set and this go round I wanted to pair her with one of the Otters. After looking at the set I thought this otter holding the heart would make for a cute story when paired with the mermaid, the only problem was the sizing. The otter's larger size would dwarf the mermaid if I tried stamping them on the same plane, so I pulled in some elements from the Underwater Scene set and got busy masking. By layering up the stamps it pushes the mermaid further off in the distance which allows her smaller size to make sense. Now it looks like this sweet otter has found the perfect mossy rock to gift to the mermaid of his dreams.  ;)

Later gators!
