Hello!
I'm back with a new Scenic Saturday post on the Blogabella. It's my last card for MerMay so I went big, pairing both the original Tiny Townie Mermaid with the new Tiny Townie Mermaid Isla together for this sweet scene.
I've been waiting forever for this pretty Tiny Townie Mermaid to get a friend and I was not disappointed with Isla when she swam onto the scene. I stamped Isla first then the kelp strands that are included in the Tiny Townie Mermaid set. Next I masked them all off before stamping the original mermaid slightly behind, making her appear further back within the scene. I love that they are both holding sea shells and I imagine they are collecting the prettiest ones to decorate their mermaid sand castle with. I kept the overall color palette soft with minty greens and baby blues with gentle rays of sunlight filtering down from the world above. It all comes together for a pleasant and peaceful under the sea friendship that is quite magical.
Don't forget that there is still time to play along in all four weeks of the MerMay challenge with a chance to win a gift certificate to the Stamping Bella store.
Stay crafty my friends!
