Hi guys!I knew going into it that this week was going to be a busy one... lots going on at work and all the fun stuff going on here at the blog. And I was so proud of myself for getting cards made ahead of time, feeling all prepared for each day. That is until I sat down to write up a post for today and realized that I had completely spaced creating anything for this week's new Tickled Pink challenge ... talk about an oops moment! Oy!So instead I've got a card featuring the digi version of the original Kellita that I made a few months back which was actually featured in the Aussie Copic mini mag, Copicendium. Sammi is a total sweetie and I was really excited when she asked me to contribute a couple cards to the first edition of her magazine. :)Today lets just pretend that I did some ripping and tearing on this card 'cause that is the challenge over at the TP challenge blog. And if you head on over there you are sure to find plenty of actual inspiration by the rest of the lovely challenge team!Later gators!

... just in time for Christmas! (Please scroll down for my Flutter By challenge post... thanks!)Hiya folks! Welcome back to another Some Odd Girl Christmas clear stamp release preview. If you're a SOG fan I'm sure that you already love Kaylee, Mae, Kody, Tia, Tobie and all the other fabulous characters to be found there. But today we've got something EXTRA special to share... there's a brand new SOG friend joining the club and this curly haired cutie is Gwen. Say hello Gwen. Hmmm... I wonder if she's a bit bashful, LOL!This first peek is of the Holly Day Gwen mini set of clear stamps. The sentiment on my card is also one of the other stamps that comes with Gwen, which is great because it gives you everything you need to really finish off a card. I was totally inspired by her candy cane striped dress to make the card all about those wonderful Christmas sweets we love. So I pulled out some old Love, Elsie papers and they had just the vibe I was going for... kinda quirky but totally sweet, just like Gwen. :)And as I was coloring her up I thought that considering it's a fact that all of the best sweets come with sprinkles she needed her own 'sprinkling' of freckles across that sweet face of hers. They make me smile every time I look at this card now. Don't forget that you can pre-order any of the holiday stamps thru Friday at $1 off! AND all of the clear stamps are at a new price, same premium Clear Photopolymer Stamps, new price... awesome! So take a look-see at today's inspiration from the rest of the Odd Gals then head over to check it out! You'll be able to get a jump on that holiday crafting with some new versatile sets of clear crafty goodness!Stay sweet everybody!

Olo!Have you been over to the Flutter By challenge blog this month? September is a whole month of fluttering fun in honor of Danni's birthday celebration! Each week there will be give-aways from some of Danni's most favorite companies and the challenges are all OPEN... making it super easy to play along. :)I was honored when Danni asked if I would be a guest during this special month and I couldn't wait to play. As you know, the Flutter By challenge is all about using butterflies, fairies or angels on your cards and if you hadn't guessed yet, I'm kind of a fan of magical little winged friends. ;)My way of thinking is that if a butterfly is good, a fairy is always better. LOL! So of course when it came time to create I wanted to find a new little fairy friend that hadn't seen ink yet. In the end though it was printer ink that I used because this adorable new Dandylion Pixie digi from Tiddly Inks was sweetly whispering from my computer files that it was her time to flutter. I agreed so much that I actually printed her off three times in three different sizes so that my card would look like it had a whole whirlwind full of pixies floating around on those dandelion puffs. What a nice farewell to summer that would be. :)So now it's your turn to join the party! Just remember to have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creations and even though it's not a requirement, Danni would LOVE to see some of her favorite things on your cards too... the color pink, lots of sparkle and lots of butterflies or fairies and bright, happy colors!I I sure hope you'll join us and play along as we'd love to see your creations!

Hello, hello!I hope that your week is off to a nice start. So far September has given us some of the highest temps of the 'summer' here in my neck of the woods. So even if I am ready for fall and all of the Halloween fun that comes with it, it sure seems like Mother Nature is taking her time changing the seasons this year. Oh well, there's no rule saying that I can't start making holiday cards in 90 degree weather. ;)You may have already seen today's card on the ATS blog during previews last week and it features the newest addition to the Laugh Line of stamps by CC Designs. She is one stylin' Witch let me tell ya and I couldn't wait to share her here as well. When I started putting this card together I wanted to break away from simply using another coordinating Halloween line of papers so I challenged myself to pull papers from my scrap bags. They didn't have to be Halloween patterns just the color combo of orange, purple and green. This ended up being a lot of fun to do and heck, I used up some scraps which is always a bonus! ;)I also used the new CC Designs Spider Chain Cutter not only as a little border but I cut the cute spiders apart to sprinkle, or should I say creep, across the entire card. Heeheehee!Well, whatever kinds of cards that you are currently working on I hope that you get plenty of time to craft today. TTYL! :)

Hi friends! You'd think we were already in December what with all of the Christmas cards I've been posting lately. And while I'm shifting gears a bit today, it's still looking an awful lot like Christmas. ;)Today we are actually kicking off sneak peeks of the new clear stamp release at Some Odd Girl. And I'll warn ya now... they are CA-UTE! :)
The first little Christmas Oddie starting everything off is Deer Mae. With her jingle bell necklace, little party dress and festive reindeer antlers she kinda makes me think of that fun girl at the office party. You know the one... sure she may be drinking a little too much eggnog and having a little too much fun but nobody minds because it's Christmas, LOL! :)
As I was searching for the right papers to pair with Mae I found my paper pack of "I believe" papers from My Mind's Eye. I loved the deer in the logo so much that I decided to recycle the packaging a bit and use the whole logo as my card sentiment. Since it was so large I chose to keep the rest of the design nice and simple so that Mae didn't have to compete with anything else as the cards focal point.
There are chances of winning some very cute Christmas stamping goodies just by leaving comments on the SOG challenge blog... you won't want to miss out on that! Plus all the eye candy from the DT is just off the charts. You'll be humming the tune to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer before ya know it! ;)
Alrighty then, thanks for visiting my little corner of the crafty world today and have a good one!

Hey there, hi there, ho there!
Well here we are, we've made it to the final day of sneak peeks for the Tickled Pink previews for September. The new Vintage Christmas Lads and Lolitas are illustrated by Christina Dee, and this collection also comes with a Christmas sentiment release designed by the talented Ann.Today we have one more dandy gent joining the festivities... Lestat has arrived just in time and he has even brought a great gift as well. Or was that nutcracker a gift that he received while touring Santa's workshop? I hear that you really can't beat the quality of an elf made nutcracker, they're unbreakable! Obviously I relied pretty heavily on the 25 Days of Christmas papers by Simple Stories to create my little story for Lestat today. But I just couldn't resist that fun Santa 'ad' considering... ;)Now as always it wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps preview without a prize, so head on over to the Tickled Pink blog and leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning your very own Vintage Christmas Lestat rubber stamp! And while you are there be sure to check out all of the magical cards that my fellow Pink Ladies have created too.
Hope you enjoyed the week of previews! :)

Welcome to the weekend everybody!I can't believe we are almost through sneak peeking the Tickled Pink previews for September already! This is the last of our lovely Lolitas but there is still one final lad tomorrow that I think you will go 'nuts' over. The new Vintage Christmas Lads and Lolitas are illustrated by Christina Dee, and this collection also comes with a Christmas sentiment release designed by the talented Ann.Today we have a Christmas beauty that will take your breath away. Lil Kellita has been transformed into a regal looking 'mistress of the manor' who is making sure that her home's holiday decor is absolutely perfect for the big celebration. I just think that she is soooo elegant in her ruffled gown and her potted poinsettias... sigh. Even though I would be hard pressed to pick a fave from this release she just may be the one (shhhh! Don't tell the others!) LOL And I'm going to sound like a broken record when I tell you that, yes, once again I've used the 25 Days of Christmas papers by Simple Stories. Though this time I also threw in some Making Memories poinsettias to embellish a bit and see that gorgeous triple pearl stick pin in the ribbon? My good bloggin' buddy Kris makes those and I was lucky enough to get a few more for my stash here recently... thanks Kris! :)Now as always it wouldn't be a Tickled Pink Stamps preview without a prize, so head on over to the Tickled Pink blog and leave a comment on today's post for a chance at winning your very own Vintage Christmas Kellita rubber stamp! And while you are there be sure to check out all of the gorgeous cards that my fellow Pink Ladies have created too.TTFN!
