Never far away...
Hey there!
We've made it to the fourth and final day of August previews at The Greeting Farm and we are wrapping things up with the Tiny Plans 2 set. Just like the original Tiny Plans set, this one includes 12 brand new cuties perfect for all you planner gals. Not into the whole planner thing? No worries, I'm strictly a card maker myself and there is plenty of fun to be had with these tiny girlies, especially when you pair them up with each other or other stamp sets. For my card today I was inspired by the little girl with her rolling luggage bag. I see rolling luggage and I think air travel, so I grabbed the Plane Amazing set and got to work creating an airport terminal scene. My little traveler needed a friend so I inked up the gal with the glasses and turned her book into a travel magazine. Then to pull it all together I also grabbed the girl with a big sign from the original Tiny Plans set because you always see people waiting at baggage with their signs. ;)
Ok, time to head on over to the TGF blog for even more Tiny Plans 2 fun from myself and my fellow Farmers. And don't forget that the entire release will be available for purchase tomorrow as well as a chance to win all four of the August stamp sets by participating in the blog hop! Supply list:

What's Cooking...
Hello, hello!
So after a short break for the weekend we are back for the third day of August previews at The Greeting Farm. The stamp set we are introducing today is one that I've been wanting for quite some time and I am super excited that it is finally here! The My Kitchen stamp set gives you all the pieces you need to build a super cute kitchen scene for your TGF characters to live in. It allows you to mix and match all the different elements for an endless variety of kitchen combinations. Back in my Sims playing days my favorite part of the game was always building and decorating homes for my Sims and this stamp set allows me to do the same thing on my cards! For my card today I've used the little kiddos that are included in the set but I gotta tell you that this kitchen works with so many of the other characters as well... just you wait and see, LOL! The overall design is clean and simple with fresh, cheery colors and I couldn't resist adding a cluster of kitchen themed stickers to embellish the card. Personally I hope these two are getting ready to make a batch of cookies. ;)
Alrighty, you know what to do... head on over to the TGF blog for even more My Kitchen lovin' from my fellow Farmers. And don't forget that the entire release will be available for purchase on the 15th as well as a chance to win all four of the August stamp sets by participating in the blog hop!

Be somebody...
TGIF crafty friends!
The August Greeting Farm release previews continue to roll right along today with the introduction of the Feels 2 set! That's right, if you already have the original Feels set and thought you had all the emotions covered well think again. The Greeting Farm has doubled the amount of emotion you can quickly share on a card or in a planner with these eight new emotive cuties. I had a blast creating cards with all of them (the rest of which you can check out over on the Greeting Farm blog today) but I really wanted to showcase this one first because I used a mix of both Feels sets to create a fun concert scene and I love how it came together. The little starlet blowing kisses and the fan with the heart eyes are part of the new Feels 2 while the other fan girls are from the original set. I masked off a horizontal line before stamping the adoring fans so that I could color in a stage for the star of the show to be standing on. And by selectively leaving random white circles when coloring in the dark background it looks like camera flashes going off in the crowd, such an easy trick but so effective. :)
Ok, time to hop on over to the TGF blog and check out all the Feels my fellow Farmers are sharing! And don't forget that today is the last day to grab the exclusive 10 Years stamp kit on pre-sale... so many fabulous friends included in that kit and once it is gone, it's gone!

You're My Everything...
Hello, hello!
Can you believe it is already time to start previews for the August Greeting Farm release?! This month we are continuing on with the 10 year anniversary celebration debuting four fabulous new clear sets! First up is the swoon worthy #CoupleGoals set. I have to tell you that ever since the Design a Sprout contest back in the day, I have wanted a hand in hand couple image from TGF. Now, nine years later, my wish has finally come true... along with four other happy couple images too. It's actually one of those other four couples that I am showcasing here today because who can resist a pair of kissing cuties? I colored them into a Central Park scene and use a stencil to add the skyscrapers in the distance. The kissy lips were fussy cut from an old piece of American Crafts paper and add a fun touch to the over all card design. :)
Once again, I couldn't stop creating cards with this set so you can find the other lovebirds over on the TGF blog today. And while you are there you will want to check out what my fellow Farmers have created too! Oh, and don't forget that you only have one more day to grab the exclusive 10 Years stamp kit on pre-sale... so many fabulous friends included in that kit and once it is gone, it's gone!

Let your light shine...
Good morning!
I'm currently busy, busy, busy prepping for the August Greeting Farm release which starts tomorrow so this seemed like a perfect time to share one of my extra cards from a previous release. This sweet little jelly from the Happy to Sea You set really spoke to me and totally deserved a card all his own. I imagined him swimming in a deep sea environment and illuminating it with his bio luminescent light. This gave me the perfect opportunity to play with a couple of my fluorescent Copics and really try to capture that glow. I'm pretty happy with what I managed to create and I learned a lot, which is always a good thing. :)
Alrighty friends, time for me to go get busy. I hope to see you back here tomorrow for day one of August TGF previews!

What's up...
Hello crafty friends!
August 7th has snuck up on us already and that means we have a new challenge over on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page. Not only that but we also have a new 7 Kids Exclusive Digital release that coincides with the theme of this challenge... DOG DAYS OF SUMMER. Sandy Le Doux has created four new digital stamps, Walter the Wolf Pup, Dozer the Pug, Baxter the Boxer and Parker the Puppy. For my card today I have printed out Dozer the Pug in grey scale because the no-line coloring technique allowed me to color in his big, beautiful eyes which added a fun expression to his sweet face. Part of that trick was also grabbing my handy dandy Sharpie extra fine white marker to add the whites of his eyes which makes it appear like Dozer is looking up into the sky. You will also notice that I returned to my card making roots and rather than color in a background I had fun using pre-made die cut pieces and fun Doodlebug papers to create a happy home for this little pup.
Ok, so go grab your animal stamps and get creative with us! It's your turn to create something for our "DOG DAYS" themed challenge. As always there is a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store to be won!
Supply list:

Magical Creatures...
A new week means a new stamp feature at the brand new stamp company, Witt & Sass! Our second featured stamp set is sure to be a big hit with any Potter heads you may know and love... Magical Creatures! Each of these critters represent the four houses featured in the books and movies. How could I resist making each one of them the star of the show on their own card? So rather than my usual single card post, I've got four cards to share with you all today. Each one of the critters was inked in Memento desert sand for no-line coloring and I had so much fun creating individual scenes for each one of them to live in. Badger seems to be practicing her spells in a secret room or hallway, Lion looks ready to grab that Golden Snitch, Snake must have taken a sip from the wrong potion because he's been shrunk down to a wee little thing and Raven is up in the aerie about to take flight.
You can find even more information and inspiration on the official Witt & Sass blog, Amy has put together an amazing team of card artists who are sure to dazzle with all of the magical cards they have been creating. And if you haven't joined the Witt & Sass Facebook group yet, you can find it here. :)
Thanks for popping by!
