Olo!
So I'm going back a couple releases to finally share this card on the ol' blog. I wanted to create the look of being immersed within a school of jellyfish and yet keep the over all design clean and simple. So I grabbed the jellyfish from the Hand's Down set and inked the main one up using tuxedo black ink. Once I masked him off I started to repeatedly stamp more jellyfish using london fog. By choosing a lighter ink it really helps make them appear to be further in the background. You may also notice that I wiped away the winky eye on all the background players and used my N2 Copic to open it back up, just another little trick to help the yellow guy stand out in the crowd. The stamped part of the sentiment comes from the Happy to Sea You set and I combined it with the 'fabulous' die to add a bit more impact. For the background I revisited the ink smooshing technique and it was a nice reminder of how much fun it is to do. ;)
Well thanks for dropping by, I'll catch ya on the flip side!
