Sending my deepest thanks...

Hey there!

It's my turn to share some inspiration on the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page today. Have you seen the new digital stamps that are exclusive to 7 Kids? Our own DT sister, Sandy, has created a whole slew of under the sea critters and Kelly's daughter, Amanda Rose, has created the lovely Mermaid Maegan that I've used on my card today. I printed Maegan in washout so the light grey lines would let me do some no-line coloring. I chose to do this technique because I wanted to try my hand at Sandy Allnock's kelp forest background and I knew that I wanted to make some of the kelp leaves appear to be in front of her. I like how this makes it look like Maegan is floating right inside that kelp forest. The bubbles were created by overfilling my colorless blender and letting it drip onto the completed image. When that dried I added a bit of shine with a white Sharpie and covered them in Glossy Accents for added dimension. In person this effect is really cool looking... promise! ;)

Ok, there is still a week to get something made for the current "BIRTHDAY" challenge. As always there is a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store up for grabs and there is so much cool stuff to be found there!
