Hello, hello!
My binder of Dreamerland Crafts
stamps has been calling my name lately and I finally pulled it off the shelf to find a cutie to color up and get on a card. Now I know there are no Dreamerland mermaids but when I came across Relax in her tub of bubbles I knew that I could easily alter her into one by coloring a tail popping out of the bubbles. I was inspired by one of Melissa's beautiful mermaid color combos that she used recently and did the yellow tail and red hair too... talk about cute! I like to imagine this mermaid came across an old rusty tub left on the beach and she decided to give her scales a good scrub. Some glossy accents added to the floating bubbles really make them shine and the fun sentiment pulls the whole scene together. :)
Alrighty, see ya tomorrow with another Sweet November MerMay release!
