You are awesome...

TGIF!

So this past Christmas I was gifted the Copic airbrush system and a small air compressor. Pretty awesome gift, right? One would think I'd have dived right in and started playing with it right away but it took me over three months to get it out of the box. I know, I know... shameful! All I can say is that I think I was a bit intimidated by it. I finally made myself get it out yesterday and start playing around, first lesson learned was that I need to make sure my markers have plenty of ink. Second lesson learned was not to overfill my markers and try to use them anyway, LOL!  Of course after my initial hesitancy I started to have a lot of fun with it so I challenged myself to actually use it on a card. Since I had pulled some cloud stencils out I knew that the cute T-Bird stamp from Purple Onion Designs would be perfect in a high flying scene. I colored up this little flying ace on a separate piece of card stock and fussy cut him out so I could pop the entire image up from the sky that I had airbrushed. I have a long way to go in mastering this new tool but I kinda like having a new challenge to tackle and enjoy along the way.
