Hello, hello!
We opened the Vault at Sweet November Stamps this past weekend and as part of the celebration I did a Live coloring video using Penelope and Flit, the butterfly. Because the digi has Penelope holding a butterfly shaped balloon it was suggested that I color them into a fairy festival scene, complete with tents and rides. It was a great suggestion but it also made me really nervous... a) because I've never tackled a background like that before and b) I hadn't done any prep or practice before diving into it with a Live audience watching. But as we know, I named my FB page Adventures in Coloring for a reason so I took a deep breath and dove into the festival scene trying very hard to do it justice and still keep the video within a reasonable amount of time. This one really pushed me but it felt great to stretch my creative muscles and I am so pleased with the end result. I did end up adding a few extra details after the video ended, like the sign with the sentiment and a bit of extra roller coaster track so that it would turn and continue off the card. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do. :)
