Beach days and besties...

Hey, hey!

How about a little more beach day cuteness from the Sun, Sand and Surf kit at Hello Bluebird? Seriously, these safari friends playing beach volleyball are so stinkin' adorable. All three can be found in the Beach Friends set, which is part of the smaller Classic Kit that is still available. I upped the impact of the small stamped sentiment by replacing the last word with the Jane Small Apha dies in a color of card stock that matched the sky above. And then gave each of the Beach Friends bright and colorful clothes and accessories to make them really pop within the scene.

Ok, I've gotta run... have a good one!

Sweet as candy...

Hey friends!

Since there are only two days left to take advantage of the Christmas in July sale of 30% OFF all Christmas digis, sequin mixes and clear sets at Sweet November Stamps, I figured this was the perfect time to share this cute Christmas card that I made recently. Some of you may recognize it from the Live coloring that I did a couple weeks ago over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. I had fun pairing some of the Sweet Christmas Fairies with the Postage Collage Mini Slimline die from Waffle Flower Crafts. We ended up going with this kind of retro 50's mint and pink Christmas color palette which I think is so pretty and really ups the whole confection theme of the card. After the Live I did add the extra Waffle Flower North Pole Postage Collage stamp images as a perfect finishing touch to the whole postal vibe going on here. :)

Toodles!

A real sweetie...

Good morning!

I made this card for the July PenPal swap that DT member Allison Cope hosts in the Friends of Sweet November Stamps Facebook group each month. Now that the recipient has gotten her card, I can share it here. The theme for July was Summer and I chose to ink up the adorable strawberry girl from the new Bountiful Blessings: Berry Sweet Day set. Picking sweet strawberries always brings to mind summer days spent in the garden so I thought she would be perfect. This time around I paired her with one of the kittens from the Bountiful Blessings: Squeeze the Day set and colored in my own berry patch farther off in the distance. Soft pinks and greens really make the red of the berries stand out and make for a pretty finished look.

Well, thanks for stopping by. I hope your week is off to a great start!

Be amazing...

Hello again!

The Sweet November Stamps newsletter mailed out last night and this month's digital freebie is Libby, the cute little girl getting ready for the coming back to school days. She is clutching her notebooks and is dressed in her favorite first day outfit, but for all of her excitement she is still feeling a bit nervous. So I paired her with a positive and encouraging sentiment to help boost the confidence of whomever is to receive this card. As far as the overall design goes, I thought it would be cute to create the look of a notebook page by using the Notebook Edge die from MFT paired with their Lined by Hand background stamp. A ruler and a light pink Copic created the line up the edge and a large corner rounder softened the outside corners. A sprinkling of cute enamel shapes from Doodlebug add just the right amount of embellishment to this CAS card.  :)

Have a good one!

Camper Life digi release at Sweet November!

Hello friends!

It's time for a new digital stamp release at Sweet November Stamps and today we are introducing the fun Camper Life Collection. There are four bundles of cute kawaii family members,  each one including a unique camper trailer to call their home away from home. There are the Kiddos, Teens, Parents and The Grands, which all work great as-is but they can really come to life when mixed and matched together.

The Kiddos are first up and these two youngsters are busy making delicious s'mores over a camp fire. As night descends they will retreat back into their cozy camper, where mom and dad will read them woodland adventure stories before tucking them into bed.

Next, the Teens are staying active during their camping vacation by going for a hike. With backpacks at the ready, will they go wandering through the trees or head towards the lake to cool down on this hot summer day? Either way, they are bound to have lots of fun making memories together.

While the kids are keeping busy with their camping activities, the Parents are at the camp ground preparing a delicious barbecue meal for the whole family. Dad is the ultimate grill master and Mom makes sure it is a well rounded meal, complete with fruits and veg.

Finally The Grands are taking it easy in their lawn chairs, happy to watch the youngsters zip about as they enjoy a cold beverage. For them, vacation is all about rest and relaxation. If you would like to watch this camp ground scene be colored up, I filmed a quick reel for Instagram and a longer speed coloring will be going up on the Sweet November Stamps Youtube channel soon.

Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Camper Life cuteness from the rest of our talented design team. Also, don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PDT over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there!
