TGIF!

This pair of frosty friends were the free digi included in the November newsletter from Sweet November Stamps. If you missed the newsletter don't worry, the Frosty Hugs digital stamp is also available for purchase in the shop. This adorable polar bear was feeling a bit lonely up at the North Pole so Santa sent some Christmas magic to create a frozen friend to keep him company. To help emphasize the snow falling around them, I die cut some small snowflakes and sprinkled them around as a loose frame. The end result is a touching scene that brings the love this holiday season.

Merry and Bright...

Hey, hey!    

I'm back with another card to share using stamps from the new Frosty Winter Wishes collection at Purple Onion Designs because tomorrow, December 19th, is the final day to grab the bundle deal for 25% OFF.

Today, I've colored up another cute mouse, this one is called Let it Glow. He is carrying a lantern so of course I had to color in a winter night scene for him to live in. To help with that I also stamped the older Snow Much Fun Background behind Let it Glow. This created just enough interest in the fairly monochromatic scene to help further the story. Then is was all about the fun of coloring in the glow from the lantern and how it hits both the snow around it and the cute mouse holding it. Once the scene was complete I added a sentiment in a blue ink that coordinates with the snowy winter night. I hope that light leads this little cutie back home to a warm hearth and warm hearts full of Christmas spirit.  :)

Christmas begins right here...

Hi there! 

I was playing with more of the stamps from the Christmas Cheer release at Hello Bluebird and just like the Fall release, I couldn't resist inking up the fantastic moose right off the bat. He is part of the Christmas Tree Farm set and I paired him with the big bear from the Perfect Tree set. Together, the story reads that brown bear has found the perfect Christmas tree and now Mr Moose is coming to chop it down. I think that is what I'm especially loving about these latest Hello Bluebird releases, every set really feel like they are made for story telling. To frame this particular holiday story I once again used the Ric Rac Card die and Ric Rac Frame die because it is such a cute finishing touch. Well, I hope your Christmas decorating is farther along than these two, because the big day is almost here!
