Have a warm and toasty one...

TGIF!

I figured that these cute critters that make up the Toasty Times image in the latest Chilliezgraphy by Pei collection at Purple Onion Designs didn't have to be just for Christmas cards. So I saved them for the new year and just had fun coloring them into a snowy night scene deep in the winter woods. The older Birch Tree Background helped to tell the story, though because I made a vertical card I did have to shift the stamp between inking up each stand of trees so that they all fit. The sentiment is an older one that came with a retired Julian Charlton stamp but I think it was made to go with these sweet friends.  :)

Winter is always cozier...

I recently got my exclusive Winter Anya from the December Farmer's Market at The Greeting Farm and she is so beautiful that I had to ink her up right away. I also got my hands on the fun Dog Dad Ian set and one of the cute pups has joined Anya on my card today. Because I wanted them to be taking a winter walk through the park I added some bare trees from the Halloween Nite digi set and a pine from the Happy Winter digi set to create the background. The crisp, cool colors of the sky and snow allow Anya, in her mauve coat, to really stand out in a pretty way.

I'm swinging into 2025 like this Glittering Trapezist from Moonlight Whispers, though she is much more glamorous looking if I'm being honest, LOL! I don't know if it's just me but I'm already feeling like this year will be like walking a bit of a tight rope. The ground beneath my feet is not as stable as I'm used to or would like it to be. So I'm holding on tight and hoping for the best, all while praying that there is a net below in case the year goes sideways on me.

So here's to the ups and downs coming in 2025, all we can do is try to enjoy the ride!  ;)
