Special Delivery...

Hey, hey!    

With all of the cool vintage post card and postmark stamp sets at Purple Onion Designs, I had to turn at least one of the new images from the Tofu and Friends Holiday Happiness collection into a cheery Christmas faux post card. I quickly settled on Tofu Candy Cane Wishes to be the focal point, coloring this sweet Santa kitty and his mouse pal in traditional Christmas colored attire. I then masked them off and added elements from the Vintage Postcard, Vintage Postcard add-on, Vintage Holiday Postmark and Vintage Christmas and Holiday Postmark sets. To decorate the postage stamp I masked off the edges and inked up just the top of the Christmas tree from the Very Merry Snowglobe stamp. The oversized Merry Christmas sentiment appears to be retired but I like how it makes a bold statement and balances Santa kitty on the other side of the card. :)

'Tis the season...

Hello friends! 

Just a quick reminder that today is the last day to participate in the Joyful Gatherings YouTube hop for a chance at winning the entire Joyful Gatherings clear release from Sweet November Stamps. This is the card that is featured on the Sweet November channel, where I share my masking process and a speed coloring of the scene. The happy snow shoveling boy is from the new Snow Days set and I paired him with both the Front Porch Background and Front Porch Christmas Decor sets to create this festive holiday scene. It looks like he took a break from all that shoveling to build a happy snowman in the front yard. The little sentiment was borrowed from the older Signs of the Season set and it certainly is the season for snow to start accumulating and all the 'joy' that comes with managing that, LOL!

Precious Dragons...

 

Hey there! 

The new Joyful Gatherings clear release at Sweet November Stamps just added two more adorable dragons to our year long Birthstone Dragon series. First we have the November Topaz Dragon who is flying high above the fall landscape, carrying her precious treasure as she goes. Just like her favorite gem, this little dragon looks stunning with her russet orange scales and amber hued eyes... all the better to blend in with the autumn foliage in her forest home.

Next, we find the December Turquoise Dragon who sparkles and shines like the icy cold snow covering the ground. The tall pine trees are from the older Winter Wonderland Horizon Lines set and they provide the perfect cover for this winter beauty and her precious gem.
