Make Magic Happen...

Hey, hey!

Yesterday we released the first of four Fae-bruary Fairy digis at Sweet November Stamps. Each Monday of this month, a new fairy will be added to the store and along with each release I will also be Live coloring the new image that same day over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. For this first week we introduced Fairy Elvia and I paired her with some of the leaves and flowers from the older Pansy Background set. During the Live we decided to go with this pretty green and berry color palette for the card which you can watch come together here. I think she turned out quite glamorous and magical and we had such a great group, which honestly surprised me for a mid-day Monday coloring session. So be sure to to check out Elvia, and who knows... maybe you'll want to use her to participate in the Sweet November Fae-bruary challenges.  ;)

Toodles!

Celebrating with you on your birthday...

Good morning!

This happy birthday card was colored Live over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page this past weekend as we kicked off the Fae-bruary celebration at Sweet November Stamps. These two cute fairwees are from the Fairwee Happy Birthday set and boy, are they ready to party! The confetti filled balloons are flying high and the three tiered cake is just waiting to be cut into. The sentiment is a sneak peek of a new set that will be released on the 15th and I think we did a pretty good job matching the pink in the dress to the pink ink used in the sentiment.

I am actually going Live again this morning as part of the Fae-bruary fun to introduce a new fairy digi that was just added to the store.

Hope you can join me!

Hey there!

It's a review weekend at Sweet November Stamps and we are officially kicking off our Fae-bruary celebration. We've got some extra fairy themed challenges running on both Instagram and in the Friends of Sweet November Stamps Facebook group this month that you will definitely want to check out. And to add to the enchantment there will be a new fairy digi added to the store each Monday this month, accompanied by a special Live coloring session over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page.

My card today is a postage collage using the Enchanted Spring Flowers clear set and the sentiment is a sneak peek of a new set that will be released in a couple of weeks. Let love grow...

Hello friends!

I'm up on the Blogabella for another Scenic Saturday and I've inked up the sweet Bundle Girl with Rose. As she marches along with her large stem of roses it's not just beautiful blooms that she brings but all her love as well. Which makes her perfect for a card with a subtle Valentine's Day vibe.

I stamped Bundle Girl with Rose low on the card front and I colored in the expansive sky to fill two thirds of the space. By keeping Bundle Girl and the landscape confined to the bottom third of the card this creates a ratio of space that is pleasing to the eye. The soft cream and pinks of Bundle Girl and her rose stand out against the atmospheric landscape pulling focus right to her. I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Sentiment set in the upper right corner, opposite Bundle Girl, using a pink ink to compliment the flower and add some more balance to the overall design. As a finishing touch I added a trio of die cut butterflies fluttering around the sentiment for just a bit of whimsy.

Stay crafty my friends!

Love and Laughter...

TGIF!

So I'm a couple days late, but I was inspired by this super cute Aihan image from Sister Stamps to create a card for the Chinese new year. I got her from Hanko Designs awhile back when she released and her joy filled pose seemed pretty perfect for a celebratory card like this. I paired Aihan with the lanterns from the Miyono set and when I colored them I added a subtle snake pattern to the round lanterns in honor of it being the year of the snake. Fun fact... I myself, was born in the year of the snake so this one feels kinda special, LOL! The sentiment is from a retired Hello Bluebird set and I stamped it in red ink to match back to Aihan's cute outfit. I also used a gold gel pen to squiggle on some abstract embroidery to her top to fancy it up just a bit. Well, let's hope that this new year is a good one.  ;)

Ssssssee ya later!

My favorite everything...

Hi friends!

How cute is this Tofu Hugs stamp from Purple Onion Designs? It is part of the older  Chilliezgraphy by Pei Summer Fun collection but this was the first time I've been able to ink it up. The timing seemed perfect though, what with Valentine's Day coming up soon. It's all hugs and cuddles for these furry and feathered friends making for a really sweet scene. The sentiment is from the Love Sentiment set and it just completes the whole warm fuzzies message of this card.  :)

Happy Thoughts...

Hi there!

I've got one more card to share using one of the sweet fairies from the new A Fairy Cute Day digi collection at Sweet November Stamps. You know I couldn't pass up a chance to make another faux post card so here I am with one featuring Fairy Ella. The postage stamp was decorated with some flowers from the Enchanted Spring Flowers clear set and I colored them to match the colors I used on Ella. The background was created using the Copic airbrush system and some bokeh stencils. The finished card certainly has me longing for spring.  :)

A sprinkle of love...

Good morning!

Saturday was a release day at Sweet November Stamps with the A Fairy Cute Day digi collection. I hosted a Live coloring over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page using Fairy Milly where we proceeded to use a bright, warm color palette throughout this enchanting scene. Milly is joined by caterpillar Chenille who is resting on a large mushroom from the Toadstools Background set. The happy color scheme that was suggested by my fellow crafters makes this card a real smile inducer.  :)

Have a great week!
