The best season of all...

Hey, hey!

I'm still working my way through the cards that I made for the Harvest of Haunts clear release at Sweet November. It's a good thing too, as I'm currently swamped with behind the scenes work that is keeping me from coloring. You may have noticed that I've been having fun with the Lovely Layers Circle Embroidery Hoop dies from Honey Bee Stamps. There is something about the stitching theme that feels very fall-ish to me, perhaps because it is another in-doors hobby, perfect for these cooler months. For this card I stamped the girl falling into a pile of leaves from the Fall Gathering set onto the embroidery hoop die, then masked her off before stamping the Front Porch Background over top. I concentrated all of my coloring to just the girl and leaves so it looks like this cross stitch project is still being worked on. For someone who usually colors entire scenes, this was a refreshing change of pace from my go-to card making style. Anywho... I promise you will be seeing more of these embroidery hoop cards from me in the future.  ;)
