Hello there!
Halloween keeps creeping closer and I've got another frightfully fun card for this week's Scenic Saturday over on the Bellarific blog. Oddball Dracula is making his dramatic entrance so beware!
Oddball Dracula is the long awaited companion to the Oddball Vampire Girl but he isn't afraid to be the solo star of Halloween night. For my first time stamping him up, I wanted to give Dracula a dramatic reveal by using a die that makes it look like a curtain is being pulled back by bats. I didn't even need to show his entire body because the classic sweep of his cape and mesmerizing stare are enough to draw in his next victim... LOL! I colored him in the traditional red and black color scheme then masked him and the bats off before airbrushing the dark red glow behind him, so that Dracula would stand out even more. The sentiment that the bats are framing is another from the
new Wicked Words Sentiment set. All in all, this was a pretty quick card to put together yet it still conveys all of the fangtastic fun of Halloween. :)
Stay crafty my friends!
