School Emos blog hop!

Hello and welcome to the Simply Betty Back to School blog hop... Emo style! LOL!

Did you enjoy the first two days of previews? Not too shabby, eh? Matter of fact I think everyone deserves an A+!
Now onto the hop... how about some extra credit for a chance to win some Back to School Emos? All you have to do for a chance to bring a few of these cuties home is hop around to all the dt blogs and leave some lovin' as you go. Once you have done that be sure to head back to the Simply Betty Blog and let us know what you think of the release!
One random commenter will be chosen to win three Back to School Emos of their choice!
Good luck to you all and have fun hopping along!

Oh, and there are some release day discounts going on in the store;
BoBunny Press Papers 40% off
My Little Shoe Box Papers 50% off
Gypsy by Cricut $175! Use coupon code GYPSY Expires Wed. August 18th
Rubber Versions of My Kids Emo World 25% off sale ends Wednesday August 18th
Back to School Emos 6 for $15 use coupon code B2S15 Expires Wednesday August 18th

Phew! That's a lot of bargains! ;)

So my card today features School Christian and School London. I thought they worked together really well with her flirty little wink trying to pull Christian out of his back-to-school funk that he seems to be suffering from. If I had to put money on it I would say London has the wiles to break through Christian's negativity... one funny note passed during History and he'll loosen right up! LOL!
Ok, your next stop in the hop is Barb and if you ever get lost along the way just refer back to the Simply Betty blog for the full list of participants.

Thanks so much for joining us today! :)

Hiya!

It's time for the second day of Simply Betty sneak peeks already and I'm pleased as punch to share another one of the fun new School Emo Kids digis with you. Today Rio is on the scene boppin' through the locker lined hallways snappin' her Hubbabubba! If you ask me, she looks totally preppy and cute so I had to go with some sugary sweet colors for her card. While she may be stuck at school, that is no reason for her not to look absolutely adorable. ;)

Be sure to check out the Simply Betty blog for even more preview cards from all my fab fellow dt gals! Then mark your calendars for tomorrow night when we will be celebrating release day with a back-to-school blog hop! And you just know there will be some prizes involved too... fun times! Time for some SBS sneak peeks!

Hello, hello!

My card for today features both Lola and Miller. As soon as I saw these two I new they had to go on a card together because of the story they told with their fun poses... doesn't it look like Miller has just realized that they have missed the school bus but Lola is still too busy checkin' Miller out to notice? A summer fun blog hop!

Hey there dudes and dudettes, it's release day over at Simply Betty Stamps and to celebrate we are having a Summer Fun blog hop! You'll want to start at the SBS blog so if you are coming here from there, great... you are right on track!

So my card today features another pair of Emo Kids, this time Rio and Christian are hangin' loose and having fun on the beach. I just love how interactive these stamps are with each other... the way their eyes seem to be connecting totally led me to use this cheeky rub-on sentiment, LOL! And the nice thing about them being digi stamps is that I could play with the sizing a bit to get the proportions all to my liking within the scene.
Sure Rio is looking pretty cute in her purple bikini and fab sunglasses but I think Christian is stealing the show here... the transformation from slouchy skater dude to hunky surfer dude is pretty amazing, LOL! ;)

Now your next stop in the hop is to Debbie and you'll want to be sure and leave some love on hers and the rest of the DT blogs today because six commenters will win a single new release digi image and one person will win the Grand Prize of all six images... suh-weet! :)
The contest ends at 11:59 pm Eastern on Saturday July 17th, and the winners will be announced on the SBS blog on Sunday,July 18th.

Oh, and in addition to the six new Summer Fun My Kids Emo World digis, the original My Kids Emo World rubber stamps will also be released in digi form today, so all you digi lovers out there this is a big day for you! Wassup?

Hola amigas!

I'm so excited to be sharing some sneak peeks of the brand new Summer Fun Emo Kids digis from Simply Betty Stamps today! All of the familiar faces are back and this time they are ready to hit the beach for some fun in the sun good times. :)

My card actually features both Miller and London and some super cool Away We Go My Little Shoebox papers from the SBS store too. I fussy cut the VW bus out because it was the perfect size to work as their transportation... doesn't it look like these two have just pulled off the street and found a great parking spot next to their favorite hang out on the beach? Miller is ready to go play some beach volleyball with his pals and London is making sure that her 'songs of summer' playlist is all set.

All six of the new Summer Fun Emo Kid digis will be available for purchase on Thursday, July 15th at midnight Pacific and until then you will want to be sure and check out the SBS blog each day for previews and a list of the DT gals with cards to share. Today Barb, Betty, Jen and I all have cards and I hope you go take a look-see at their cool creations too!
Then mark your calendar for a Blog Hop on Thursday with a chance to win the entire release! Woot, woot!

Hello my peeps!

So there are some fun things happening over at Simply Betty Stamps that I want to share with you and the big news for the day is that we are starting up a monthly challenge on the SBS blog! This first one up is a sketch challenge which I used as inspiration for my card today. Wicked cool...

Hola chicas!

It's back to work I go today and I'm kinda lagging behind so I won't dilly dally. :)

I've got another guy card to share with you today. But where yesterday's card was more geared towards the younger lads, this one is definitely a bit more on the edgy side. I've used Christian from the Simply Betty Stamps My Kids Emo line and I think he is just a wicked cool little skater dude... thus the sentiment. ;)
Not only is Christian pretty darn cool but just look at the buddy he comes with... it's a little dragon! I would so have a pet dragon if I could, though I would probably have to invest heavily in fire extinguishers first, LOL! Still, I think these two make the perfect pair... totally hip and yet still kinda whimsical and fun. I really couldn't ask for more in a stamp.

Ok, ok, I'm audi... see ya tomorrow!

Divalicious day two

Hey, hey, hey!

I don't know about you but we are finally feeling some true summer time temps here which means soon it will be time to hit the lake! I can't wait... woot woot! For now though I've got a few other things to keep me busy on my day off, like play with my Flip and see if I can't figure out a coloring video or two (wish me luck that I don't get stage fright, LOL)! ;)

But right now I've got another DT Diva digi from Simply Betty Stamps to share with you and today I've used Catherine. Just look at that attitude with her hand on her hip, strutting her stuff as she makes her way to the crafty table, stamp in hand. Too fun! :)
This is the second card in the little note set I made and you can see that I followed the same basic recipe from my Amy card yesterday. So even though it is a different color scheme and papers there is still a continuity between the two.

And don't forget about the Simply Betty blog hop tomorrow to celebrate the mid-month digi release! Hope to see ya there! :)

Something different from Betty

Hello, hello!

So imagine my surprise when Betty herself drew up some characters inspired by the SBDT to release as digis on the 15th over at the Simply Betty store. It was too funny to see this little Amy strollin' along with her stack of pretty pattern papers. Thankfully Betty took a few inches off her waistline and added them to her hair length making her much more sassy and fabulous than I normally look in real life, LOL! ;)
This card is the first of a set of three that I have to share, all leading up to the release day blog hop on Tuesday... now of course I had to go with a monochromatic orange color scheme to represent little Diva Amy and I think she is rockin' the look. :)
Be sure to check out the Simply Betty blog to see what the other gals have created with their own alter egos too!

Later gators! :)

Betty goes Burtonesque

Hidee ho neighbor-ee-nos!

Once again, all I can say is thank goodness for Fridays, LOL!
I don't have any big plans other than to just enjoy my time off and see where the day takes me. :)

So before I get into my card for the day, I've still got one unclaimed Sweet November candy that is looking for a good home... Kate... I need to hear from you by Sunday otherwise I'm going to draw a new name for the Treasure Tempestwind candy and announce on Monday!

Ok, ok moving on... so this week the Burtonesque challenge is being hosted by Simply Betty Stamps and the theme is inspired by Sweeney Todd, final cut and shave (create a card/project using decorative scissors or paper distressing tools). At first I thought about going dark with lots of red/black/white but when I saw pretty little London staring up at me I decided to go a different direction and took my inspiration from the Johanna character in the movie. This allowed me to create a very girly card with just a bit of an 'edge' to it. Get it? Edge? Sweeney Todd? Bwahahahaa sometimes I just crack myself up! ;)
I even blew the dust off of an old pair of pinking shear edge scissors and put them to work on the pink text paper along with some torn edges as well... what can I say, I'm a tearer. Or is that terror? Hard to tell some days... Bwhahahaaha man I am on a roll today! :)

Sigh, alrighty that's all I got... have a lovely weekend!

SBS Blog

My card today uses Rio and as soon as I saw her in her fabulous party dress Lionel Richie started singing, "We're going to party! karamu! fiesta! forever!" in my head and I had to run with that vibe for the card, LOL! So I found just the perfect papers that were nice and bright and still had that girly girl flair then blinged it up with some pretty blue jewels. Now don't forget that Rio also comes with a funky little bat friend but I think I scared him off with all these bright colors and he didn't quite make it onto my card. ;)

Okey dokey, now you'll want to pop on over to Catherine's blog for the next stop on the hop!
Have fun!

It's Miller time

Hello again my friends!

Well here we are at the second day of Simply Betty Stamps previews and I'm switching gears a bit to share a cool guy card with you all. This chill dude is Miller and he comes with a crazy little lizard friend. How perfect is he for all those teen boy cards that can be a bit tricky to find just the right image for? I really love the "it's all good" relaxed attitude he seems to have. :)

To see even more fun previews zip on over to the Simply Betty blog. You'll also find a list of my fellow teammates there with links to all of their amazing blogs too! Then mark your calendars for the GRAND OPENING blog hop tomorrow, June 1st to celebrate the release of the "My Kids Emo World" stamps. There's so much fun stuff going on I can hardly contain my excitement! :)

Lola... la la la la la Lola

Hiya!

So today we are kicking off previews of the 'My Kids Emo World' range at Simply Betty Stamps and if you haven't checked them out yet what are you waiting for? These quirky cuties and their animal friends are being released on June 1st and until then there is a special pre-order going on with 10% off your entire order.... pretty sweet! :)

For my first preview card the sleek and trendy miss Lola was insistent that she be in the spotlight and I was more than happy to oblige. This girl definitely has a style that is all her own and she's not afraid to strut her stuff! Lola also comes with her very own pet rat, whom I've started referring to as Nimh since he kinda reminds me of the rats from the "Secret of Nimh" cartoon, LOL! What a pair these two make. :)

To see even more Simply Betty goodness just head on over to the Simply Betty blog where there is all sorts of fun stuff to check out as well as a list of my fellow DT members blogs! I'll also have another preview to share tomorrow at midnight and this is all leading up to the Grand Opening Celebration blog hop on the 1st. I hope to see you there!

Simply Betty Stamps

Hey all!
I've got some super exciting news that I've been bursting at the seams to share with you and the day has finally arrived when I can shout it from the rooftops! :)

Simply Betty Stamps are some of the coolest new kids on the block and I immediately fell in love with their hip, retro-esque cartoon vibe as soon as I saw them. So when I was invited to be a part of the SBS design team it was a total no brainer... and my answer was, "heck yes"! LOL
If you haven't checked them out yet, head on over to the Simply Betty blog or the store and take a look... there is actually a pre-order going on through the 31st with 10% off. If that isn't cool enough, Betty is also putting the names of everyone who pre-orders into a drawing and one lucky winner will actually get their entire order for free! Let me tell you, these stamps are SO much fun to color... oh and each one even comes with a quirky little friend too so you won't want to miss out on this deal!
Official previews will begin tonight at midnight pst and will lead up to the GRAND OPENING BLOG HOP on June 1st. So be sure to stop by later when I'll be able to formally introduce you all to my new friends!
See ya then! :)
