Ears to you...

TGIF!

I was flipping through one of my stamp binders yesterday and these cute bunnies in the My Somebunny set from Paperie Ink caught my eye. I've had this set for ages and to be honest, I kinda forgot I had them! So once I spotted them I knew I had to make a card with them during this Easter season. I decided to use the Gallery Frame #5 die from Hello Bluebird for a long slimline design that breaks the bunnies up into three separate mini scenes. I love how each little bunny is hiding in a flower pot surrounded by three different types of spring flowers, lilies, daffodils and tulips. I stamped each one using Memento rich cocoa ink to give these cuties a softer look. The sentiment is from an older Ellen Hutson set and I embellished the card with some fun enamel Easter egg shapes.

Ok friends, thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Seas the day...

TGIF!

As I was flipping through one of my stamp binders for a card that I made earlier this week, I stumbled across the cute Mine, Mine, Mine stamp set from Paperie Ink. I got these adorable seagulls at the end of last summer and to be honest, when they got put away I kinda forgot I had them! So once I spotted them I knew I had to make a card with them ASAP. I decided to use the Gallery Frame #4 die from Hello Bluebird to create a little grid design for these cuties to live in, stamping them all out on the various panels. The overall color scheme went very nautical with the red, white and blue combo but I like how the blues of the water and sky lighten everything up a bit. I gotta say, this card seemed to fly together really quickly and it is still really playful and fun. I'm so glad I spotted these cuties in my stash and had the time to play with them.  :)

Ok friends, thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Autumn is calling...

TGIF!

Whew! Sorry about the lack of a post yesterday. I was just not feeling myself on Wednesday and took the day to rest and completely veg out. To be honest I was a bit worried about getting back to my normal routine yesterday but wouldn't you know that getting a bit of happy mail in the form of a stamp order from 7 Kids would do the trick, LOL! I was needing adhesive and of course a couple new stamp sets fell into my basket before check out as well. One of them was this darling fall set from Paperie Ink called Autumn is Calling. I am such a sucker for cute scarecrows and their black bird pals and this set was full of both. I've actually purchased a couple sets from some of their earlier releases but haven't yet found the time to get them inky and I wasn't going to let that happen again. So I opened the pack right away and got to stamping and masking these cuties into a fun pumpkin patch scene. I did a lot of layering to get everyone where I wanted them and I'm super happy with the story they are telling. :)

Ok friends, thanks for stopping by and enjoy this long weekend!
