Summer dreams

Hello and good morning!

So if you stopped by the CA&Friends blog yesterday you've already seen the card I have to share here today. If you haven't stopped by there yet, you may want to check out the fun WCW challenge that will have you longing for sunny, summer days! :)
The challenge is to create a summer time card with yellow being the primary color in the papers you use... luckily for me I had this great yellow cloud paper from Pebbles just waiting to be used. Doesn't it look like the sky on a warm summer evening? That paper was the inspiration for the whole rest of the card... especially when I also had this fun little scooter stamp that I've been wanting to pair with just the right Sprout and Summer turned out to be the one. There's something about a scooter that just says summer to me, not that I've ever ridden on one but it looks like it could be kinda fun. :)
All in all this is a pretty simple little card but the story it tells makes me happy!

Happy hump day... yeah for getting halfway through this week!

I don't know why I'm so excited, it's not like I have this weekend off or anything but for some reason I just want to get through this one and on with different things. Maybe some of it has to do with the new stamp releases coming up and more sneak peek candies to give away... it feels like it's been forever! So yea, fun things to look forward to here soon... I promise! ;)

Today I've got a card for Lysa's farewell Wild Card Wednesday challenge over at the CA&Friends blog and it's a cool one! Lysa picked out a beautiful picture of some throw pillows to be inspired by and I totally ran with the color scheme of them. That and all the fab stitching they featured. :)
I also tried out a new to me skin color combo as I wanted Gigi to look like she had a sun tan. I don't know if I was 100% successful... she might look more sun burned than sun tanned but I still went with it, LOL!

Why, hello there my friends!

I hope all is right in your world this morning.
My world just keeps on spinning... even faster now after the earthquake in Chili according to those NASA scientists. No wonder I've been feeling dizzy trying to get everything done, I'm losing time! LOL
Ok, ok... so maybe I can't blame my to-do list craziness on natural disasters but at least I can say I tried. ;)

So I've got a fun Wild Card Wednesday challenge for y'all over at the CA&Friends blog today... and you shouldn't be surprised when you see that it's all about the pattern papers on this one. Yep, I challenge you to use 5 or more different pattern papers on your card this week... insert evil chuckle here. Oh how I loves me some pretty papers! So start diggin' through your paper stash and see how many you can mix and match on your card. :)

I received the brand new Moments sentiment set that I won from Little Paper Shop recently and as soon as I saw this great quote I knew exactly who needed to play on my card today and just what papers would be perfect too. So I printed out cutie H&G Rain and paired her with my new My Mind's Eye papers... doesn't she just look like she is dancing in the rain now? Gotta love that!
