The Merriest Little City...

 

Hey there!

I'm back with a couple more cards from both of the new holiday collections that were released yesterday at Purple Onion Designs. From The Merriest Little City collection by Stacey Yacula, I created a neighborhood sidewalk scene using the Holiday Brownstone background. Butterscotch and Doxie are bundled up and out for their afternoon walk while little Boots watches from the stoop. I dressed up the Brownstone with a festive wreath from the older Winter Florist set and miniature trees from the Mini Evergreen Tree set and the sentiment at the bottom of the card is part of the Merriest City Sentiment set.

 

From the Tofu and Friends Holiday collection by Pei I've inked up the darling Tofu the Christmas Angel and created a clean and simple Christmas Eve night scene for her to be flying through. The sentiment is from the older Holiday Messages Sentiment set.

Two new releases at Purple Onion Designs!

I'm so excited to let you all know that there are two new holiday collections being released today at Purple Onion Designs! For my first Merry Little City card I knew that I wanted to build a scene around the cool City Skyline background stamp. I paired those tall skyscrapers with the Park Background and the Bare Trees and Bushes set so it would look like Hannah and Finn are taking in the view of that familiar skyline all covered in holiday snow from Central Park. The sentiment is part of the Merriest City Sentiment set and I mean, come on now, it's a classic line!  :)

There is also a brand new artist that Purple Onion Designs is excited to introduce and that is Chilliezgraphy by Pei with the Tofu and Friends Holiday collection. My first Pei card features the fun Tofu, Flappy and Mousy Fun in the Snow stamp. Just look at these furry friends as they race down the snow covered hillside, with the trees whooshing past them at an alarming speed! There is just so much character to these festive holiday animals and I had so much fun watching them come to life as I colored them. The sentiment that I paired with them is from the older Warming Winter Thoughts Sentiment set.

Spill the beans...

Hi friends!

I'm trying to get all of the cards I've made for the Sweet November Fall clear release shared here on the blog before the Christmas release next weekend. I don't know if I will manage that but I can get this card up today. These adorable Coffwees were colored during a Facebook Live a few weeks back and unfortunately Facebook was having some issues at that time and the video has since been deleted. Sadness, right? At least I've still got this photo to share because this scene with the Birch Trees background turned out pretty darn cute. The pair of besties here are enjoying a delicious brew together at their favorite mushroom cafe, catching up on all the latest gossip of the Fall season. What a magical way to spend a crisp Fall morning. :)
