Tails from the Sea day 2...

Hey, hey!

The Tails from the Sea clear release celebration continues today at Sweet November Stamps. These nine enchanting mermaid sets and the newest addition to our year long Birthstone Dragon series as well as two new sequin mixes cover a variety of styles that are sure to catch your eye. The shopping special for this release is spend $75 or more and you will get SN Gal Merielle absolutely FREE (while supplies last). And of course there is also FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders over $75 and $15 flat rate shipping for all international orders over $75. We've also brought back the exclusive limited time digital bundle deal which will be available through June 7th. The digital stamp bundle includes the entire 2025 Tails from the Sea release, that is 43 digis for $75. As an added bonus, from now through May 31st, every order placed at Sweet November Stamps will also receive the exclusive Coralyn mermaid digi absolutely free, no code necessary.  :)

My first card today is a long slimline using some of the swimming mermaids from The Pod Squad set. I always enjoy creating these bird's eye view type of scenes and submerging them in water was an extra fun challenge. If you are interested in watching me create another scene like this, then be sure to check out the YouTube hop that started this morning.

My next card pairs a couple of the cuties from the new Mer Friends set and it looks like they are helping this lost baby fish return to its parents. The background elements were pulled from a handful of older sets, coral from Seashells and Sunshine, rock and kelp from Mermees #3 and extra fish from Something's Fishy.

Finally, we colored up this beachy scene yesterday morning during my first Live on the Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page. The adorable So Spe-shell chibi mermaid is the star of the show and once we decided on above or below the sea, I paired her with the beach fencing and sand piper chick from the Sea Birds set. After the Live was over I did end up stamping some seashells onto the sand to tie in with the sentiment.

The Instagram hop is still going strong with all sorts of fabulous inspiration from the design team with a chance to win the entire release. Just search for the #sweetnovemberstamps account to get started. The winner will be announced on May 27th. And the Youtube hop starts this morning for another chance at winning the entire release! I've been busy creating all sorts of mermaid magic using these wonderful new stamps sets, and I've got three of them to share with you today. First up is one of the three beauties that make up the Lovely Mermee set. This pretty mermaid has taken a trip up to the surface to enjoy the sunrise thanks to the older Dock on the Bay Background Builder set.

Next, we have
SN Gal Merielle diving deep into the kelp forest, always on the lookout for some mystery and adventure. Creating this enchanting scene is super easy with the new Kelp Bed Background Builder set. All of various pieces come together perfectly adding real depth to under the sea scenes.

Finally for today, I've stamped up the exuberant Stay Sparkly chibi. She is full of excitement and joy, especially once I paired her with the cute otter from the older Go with the Flow set. A few of the individual kelp clusters from the  Kelp Bed Background Builder set complete the happy scene.

Now, if you are on Instagram and would like a chance at winning the entire release, we are hosting a three day Instahop. Just search for the #sweetnovemberstamps account to get started. Let's be mermaids...

Hello!

I'm back with a new Scenic Saturday post on the Blogabella. It's my last card for MerMay so I went big, pairing both the original Tiny Townie Mermaid with the new Tiny Townie Mermaid Isla together for this sweet scene.

I've been waiting forever for this pretty Tiny Townie Mermaid to get a friend and I was not disappointed with Isla when she swam onto the scene. I stamped Isla first then the kelp strands that are included in the Tiny Townie Mermaid set. Next I masked them all off before stamping the original mermaid slightly behind, making her appear further back within the scene. I love that they are both holding sea shells and I imagine they are collecting the prettiest ones to decorate their mermaid sand castle with. I kept the overall color palette soft with minty greens and baby blues with gentle rays of sunlight filtering down from the world above. It all comes together for a pleasant and peaceful under the sea friendship that is quite magical.

Don't forget that there is still time to play along in all four weeks of the MerMay challenge with a chance to win a gift certificate to the Stamping Bella store.

Stay crafty my friends!

TGIF!

I made this card for the May PenPal swap that DT member Allison Cope hosts in the Friends of Sweet November Stamps Facebook group each month. Now that the recipient has gotten her card, I can share it here. The theme this month is mermaids, of course, and I chose to ink up the gorgeous Oarla. After stamping her on a mini slimline card front, I also added some rocky cliffs thanks to the Seaside Cliffs Background Builder set. The stormy sea was colored in by hand using soft blues, so when it came time to color Oarla I went with sunny yellows for a pretty contrast.  :)

Well, thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the big MerMay clear release at Sweet November!

Can't wait to see you...

Hi there!

The fourth and final week of the Stamping Bella MerMay challenge starts today in the Stamping Bella Sistahood Facebook group and on the Bellariffic Blog. This week the theme is a photo inspiration that is full of bold and vibrant colors. I decided to go with a mini slimline card that pairs one of the mermaids from the Little Cutie Mermaids and Octopus Friends set with a few of the Oddball Fish. I like how the mermaid appears to be swimming to join their school while the fish aren't so sure about this bright and cheery cutie fitting in with their overall vibe. The sentiment is from the Mermazing Sentiment set and I used white embossing powder to make sure it really popped against the dark water. The bubbles were added using the Colorless Blender marker to push out the ink and then topped off with glossy accents to make them nice and shiny. Now don't miss out on joining the mermaid fun because you still have until the end of the month to enter cards in each week's challenge. All for a chance at winning a $25 gift certificate to the store.  :)

Toodles!

Mermaid kisses...

Hey, hey!

Yesterday I turned once again to the stack of images that I keep on my desk for when I'm short on coloring time. I found this Beautiful Chubby Mermaid 3 digi from A Day For Daisies and she was perfect. I'm quite happy to say that I've now colored two out of the three Chubby Mermaids because I think they are all fabulous. As you can see, I gave this one a head full of brassy red hair to contrast with all of the blues and greens going on throughout the scene. She definitely looks like royalty resting down there at the bottom of the sea.  :)

Ok friends, see ya tomorrow!
