Happy Valentine's Day...

Hey there!

Yesterday was another busy day that didn't leave me with a lot of time for crafting but I still needed to unwind once I got home. I saw this cute little Be Creative mouse from Colorado Craft Company sitting on my desk and this idea for a quick, clean and simple Valentine popped into my head. I stamped this artistic little mouse with his well used brush in the lower left corner of my card and proceeded to color him up, being sure to add a really dramatic shadow behind him that implies there is a white wall back there. Then all I did was grab a red marker and literally scribble in a giant heart in front of him. I left it loose and sketchy on purpose as the state of those bristles on his brush doesn't make it appear as if he was taking great care with his brush strokes, LOL! I also added a few dripping spots to again hint at the flat, white wall he just painted on as well as some small paint drops on the ground. What a messy little guy! A heat embossed sentiment from the Ever Thine set and this card was done in a flash.

Alrighty, time for me to get this busy day rolling. Take care!
