Good morning!
Now that Valentine's Day has come and gone I am officially dreaming of spring with all of the cards I make, LOL! Sure, we've got more snow than we've had all season and it is frigid cold out there but in my own little world of card making make believe there is green grass and blooming things all around. So yesterday when I sat down to get creative I found myself drawn to the Woodland scene builder set from Dreamerland Crafts and I paired it with this adorable little gal called Enjoy the Good Times. Now I did alter the girl stamp to make it work for the vision I had, originally she is perched on top of an hour glass but I wanted her kneeling on the ground. You could just grab a baby wipe or cloth to wipe away any ink from the hourglass before stamping and keep the stamp as is, but I went ahead and cut her off of the hour glass. To be honest, I know I will get much more use out of her without it. I mean seriously, look how cute she is surrounded by those woodland critters now! The background came together super quick with the help of all the little builder elements in the Woodland set. The great thing about the trees is that they work for any season depending on whether or not you choose to add leaves. Both of these stamp sets can be found at Sweet November Stamps. Yep, in case you missed it SN is now also carrying Dreamerland Crafts! :)
Alrighty, well thanks so much for stopping by today and keep dreaming of warmer days!
