I've been creating so many cards using these new stamps which I can't wait to share, but for my first one out I chose this pretty, non-traditional Christmas card featuring a mix of Stacey Yacula images from the Home for the Holidays collection as well as a couple older stamps. The darling squirrel and mouse wrapping the gift image is called Especially for You and the new Room Background seemed like the perfect place for them to be enjoying this holiday prep. To fill the room a bit more I grabbed the older Sparkle Tree and Presents to really make it look like they have been busy all afternoon long. Rather than the usual reds and greens of the holiday season I thought it would look quite chic to deck their halls in shades of aqua and violet. Even the snowy sky outside the windows is a pretty shade of purple. I added a lot of sparkle to the tree which is kinda hard to see in the photo but such a pretty touch in person and totally suits the overall vibe of this Christmas scene. :)
