Thinking of you...

Good morning!

I was tidying up my desk when I found this darling Dreamerland Crafts image already stamped up and just waiting to get colored. The image is called A Peaceful Breeze and I set to coloring her right then and there. I did my best to make the flowers look like shy violets and then my challenge was figuring out what to do in the background to help reinforce her small Thumbellina like size. I finally settled on sketching a large tree root and blades of grass directly behind her before extending the scenery off into the distance. I'm actually really happy with how this scaled the stamp down so her sitting on a flower makes sense. A quick addition of a 'thinking of you' sentiment and this card was complete. :)

Toodles!
