Hello again!
It's day two of May release previews at Hello Bluebird and tomorrow is release day with all seven new stamps sets and eight stand alone dies available at 7pm MST. To check out all of the goodies being shared today be sure to head over to the the Hello Bluebird blog and leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate to the HB store.
My card today features the absolutely adorable Little Star set which includes a bear cub holding a star balloon, a fox kit trying to scoop up stars in a net and a baby elephant and bunny dreaming together on a big, fluffy cloud. It also comes with a crescent moon and extra cloud, four sentiments two sleeping birds and some random stars and hearts. With some masking I stamped the cub onto the moon and the fox onto the cloud then left all the masks on while I used the Copic airbrush system to add the dark night time sky behind them. The sentiment was then stamped on using Versamark watermark ink and white heat embossing powder so it would show up nice and bright. The extra stars in the sky were cut out using the new Starry Sky die and I just glued them on in a random pattern. The entire scene was framed in using the Gallery Frame #1 in a dark blue card stock that coordinated with the sky.
Thanks so much for dropping by and I hope you come back tomorrow for day three of the Hello Bluebird previews. :)
