The new Confection Collection by Kris Lauren is now available at Colorado Craft Company. It is full of cute critters and sweet confections, perfect for celebrating birthday or just the sweet friends in our lives. Of course we are celebrating with a blog hop and as always, 3C is giving away a new stamp set from each stop on the hop, so the more you comment the more chances you have to win. Entries will be accepted until midnight eastern time on July 2nd and winners will be randomly selected and announced on their blog July 3rd. I've made three cards to share during the hop today and this first one is a long slimline that pairs the adorable peeking kitty from the Bake Me Happy set with the fun topsy turvy cake from the Eat More Cake set. Because I stamped her up on the top of the cake, she was a bit big for that small tier so I ended up drawing in a few simple lines to give the kitty some legs too. I used the individual sprinkle stamps to create the confetti falling down around and I think it really ups the whole party atmosphere.
Next, we have the cutest little piglet from the Bake Me Happy set, licking the rest of the chocolate cake batter right out of the bowl. How can you not love that guilty expression he is wearing, LOL! The sentiment that I paired with this sneaky baker is from the Secret Ingredient set.
Finally, we have the fun raccoon from the Sweetest By Far set, who is all dressed up and ready to party. I ended up pretty much stamping and masking together every stamp in this set to create this pile of birthday goodness. The color palette here was a bit of a change up from my other two cards because I wanted it lean a bit more masculine.

When I was young, we had a pet squirrels and pet raccoons. When I left for college, my mom would treat the raccoons to her baked goods-fish from the lake for dinner and cookies for dessert! Your cards reflect the joy animals have when treated as part of the family. Love the copic coloring.
