Two new releases at Purple Onion Designs!

 

Good morning!

It's an exciting day here on the ol' blog because there's not one but two new releases at Purple Onion Designs! The first is a new Stacey Yacula collection called, Amongst the Pines. Included in it are a variety of cute critters playing sports, attending a BBQ cook out and exploring the great outdoors. So many of these new characters are perfect for Father's Day and celebrating the guys and active little kiddos in our lives. For my card today I paired Pewter, the cheering skunk and her megaphone with Reed, the referee and Blitz, the cute little football bear. With the help of the Pond Background I was able to color them all into a fun scene of peewee football. The sentiment is also from the new Great Outdoors Sentiment set. 

There is also a brand new Chilliezgraphy by Pei collection called, Summer Fun which includes 12 new character stamps and the Friendly Warm Wishes Sentiment set.

My first Pei card features the big ol' fluffy puppy called Sunshine Goldie. He's so sweet with his bouquet of sunflowers and I added the cute ladybug from the Fairy Mouse and Friends set to keep him company. The Perfect Spot is an older background stamp but it set the scene of a lovely summer day for Goldie here. The sentiment is one from the new Friendly Warm Wishes Sentiment set.
