Sunny Wishes...

Good morning!

The adorable Seaside Girls set is a long time favorite of mine from Hello Bluebird and yesterday they were calling to me to be inked up once again. Not having a whole lot of time for crafting, I settled on a cute mini slimline scene using the Nesting Deckle Mini Slimline die set. To begin creating the story I first stamped the seagull holding a seashell before masking and adding the piling post as his perch. Next I masked off the piling as well before adding the cutie with the long, flowing hair directly behind it. Stamping all of the main images so tightly together not only adds depth to the scene but it also plays to the tall vertical nature of the narrow slimline card. I wanted to put this little beach comber into a sunny seaside scene so I went with a lot of clear blues contrasted by the golden sand to achieve that look. The sentiment was borrowed from the Beach Play set and stamped into the blue sky with a coordinating blue ink. I gotta say, I'm always so happy with the cards I create using this classic stamp set.  :)

Stay sunny and stay crafty!
