Good morning!
I've got one more Sunshine Lake card to share for now but I promise you will be seeing plenty more of these cute critters from me in the near future. For this one I wanted to keep the design clean and simple, like a quick snapshot of Daphne, the beaver, and Ida, the bunny, playing beneath the cool lake water. I also added a whole school of Neptune, the fish, even mirror stamping one to face the opposite direction. Teal and orange is one of my most favorite color combos and tends to be a 'go to' for me especially on summer cards like this one. I think these two little swimmers look great in their coordinating gear. For the bubbles I simply used my Colorless blender Copic to push out circles in the water then added Glossy Accents over each one to make them nice and shiny. A quick sentiment strip added through the simple scene and this fun birthday card was done! See, not every card I make has to be colored over every square inch of it... just most of them, LOL! ;)
Now don't forget that Purple Onion Designs is offering the entire Sunshine Lake collection PLUS the
sentiment set as a discounted bundle for a limited time. All 25 stamps
(27 images in all) plus the Sunshiney Sentiments (6 sentiments) are being
offered at a 30% discount. The complete bundle is $115.00 and is
available through May 31, 2020. You can find it all HERE.

Drop you a line...
Hello there!
Yesterday I enjoyed a morning of coloring on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page using more cute stamps from the Sunshine Lake collection that was just released at Purple Onion Designs. I already had this fun fishing scene all stamped up using a variety of the new designs. There is Bentley, the fishing fox and his hedgie pal, July. Coral, the duckling is swimming through the cat tails to say hello. While the rest of the scene consists of the Lake Background, Rocky Shore, Rock set and Sunshiney Sentiment. We colored them into an early morning fishing trip since everyone knows that's the best time to cast a line or two. Though even if neither of these friends catch 'the big one' I bet they enjoy simply spending time together. :)
And as great as it is that you can pick and choose just the images you want, if you have fallen in love with the entire Sunshine Lake release Purple Onion Designs is offering the whole collection PLUS the sentiment set as a discounted bundle for a limited time. All 25 stamps (27 images in all) plus the Sunshiney Sentiments (6 sentiments) will be offered at a 30% discount. The complete bundle is $115.00 and is available through May 31, 2020. Let's be mermaids...
Hey there!
I'm on the Bellarific Blog today with a new Scenic Saturday card to share. We are currently still enjoying the month of MerMay and I have decided that Stamping Bella officially needs more mermaids. I only have three in my collection and that just isn't nearly enough, LOL! Luckily for me this sassy Little Bits gal from the Palm Tree set volunteered to go full mermaid for my card. By selectively inking only her head and upper torso before stamping I was left with a blank lower half that I could then color into a sandy mermaid tail. Little Bit doesn't seem to mind spending the day buried in the sand especially when you've constantly got a drink in your hand. ;)
The rest of the beachy scene is filled out with accessory images from other Little Bits sets, like the little crab hanging out with her is from the Snorkel set, the shell is part of the Little Bits Sandcastle set and the hibiscus in her hair is from the Little Bits Surfer set. The message comes in the Under the Sea sentiment set and I think it totally encapsulates this gals entire vibe. By stamping it onto my card before coloring in the background I was able to actually make it part of the scene by simply grabbing some light brown markers and turning it into an old weather worn beach sign.
So if the shelter at home quarantine is getting to you, why not take this gal's advice, grab a drink and just imagine yourself swimming wild and free as far and as fast as you please. :)

Have a blast at Sunshine Lake!
Hello again!
It's a busy day around the ol' blog but I'm telling you it is soooo worth it! Today is release day for the first brand new Stacey Yacula collection of 2020 at Purple Onion Designs and I am telling you, it is definitely worth the wait. The collection is called Sunshine Lake and these wonderfully cute critters are all about celebrating summer days at the lake and on the river. Having lived nearly my entire life on the shores of a beautiful lake nestled in the foothills of the Cascade mountain range I feel like this collection was made just for me. It celebrates all the things that make lake life the best life, from skiing, swimming and fishing to camping and laying out on the beach... this set has it all. And don't get me started on how awesome all the background scene builders are too, let's just say that I've got nine more cards already stamped and ready to go that I can't wait to share with you all. In fact, I will be coloring one of those scene Live tomorrow at 11am PST over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page to celebrate this amazing release!
For my card today I have made a long slimline featuring Maverick and Miki pulling Gladys behind their boat as she expertly weaves her way across the waves. The Lake background off in the distance sets the scene as they race by and since I made a slimline I used the small single mountain to extend the background further across the card. Now I have never been a strong skier myself but I have many fond memories of boating and tubing with my family when I was young that this card takes me right back to. :)
Now for the best news... Purple Onion Designs is offering the whole collection PLUS the sentiment set as a discounted bundle for a limited time. All 25 stamps (27 images in all) plus the Sunshiney Sentiments (6 sentiments) will be offered at a 30% discount. The complete bundle is $115.00 and is available through May 31, 2020. You can find it all HERE.

Otterly great...
TGIF!
Even though I don't have another mermaid-ish Hello Bluebird card to share again, I was still feeling that ocean vibe when it came time to get inky. So this go round I pulled out the super adorable Otter Friends set to create a sweet and peaceful seaside scene. I still had the Seaside Girls set on my desk so I borrowed the piling, starfish and clam from it to help flesh out this story. I did some simple selective inking on both the piling and the otter himself to make both look like they are partially submerged under the water I colored in. The cute little gulls are from the Hippos on Holiday set and I love how it looks like they are plotting a way to get a hold of Mr. Otter's birthday clam, LOL!
Have a lovely weekend my friends!

May all your wishes come true...

It's the 15th of the month and the MAY 2020 RELEASE is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store. Our first set called CHEEKY PROUD features a beautiful and strong military woman. Next, we took you on a magical carpet ride with adorable genies in the set called 3 WISHES. Lastly, we introduced you to Korean pop music in the set called K-POP IDOLS.
To celebrate we are having a short BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home the Clear Stamp Release (3 stamp sets)! You have until May 18th, 12pm CST/1pm EST to leave your comments on each Designer's Blog and The Greeting Farm Blog (letting us know you completed the hop). We will announce the random winner later in the week on the Blog and in our Facebook Group: The Greeting Farm Fan Page.
NOTE: Please use the same name on all the blogs when leaving a comment. Also, please do not pick the Anonymous option when leaving a comment (otherwise we won't be able to verify that it's you). Thank You!
TGF Design Team:
This is a short hop and definitely worth playing along! If you want to grab your faves now, you can purchase the new Clear Stamps and Digis HERE.
For my card today I colored up the last cutie from the 3 Wishes set and this time I pulled my inspiration from the classic I Dream of Jeannie TV show. She got blonde hair and lots of pink then I created a quick scene of her emerging from her bottle after centuries of confinement. I think she looks pretty thrilled to be out taking in that fresh desert air, LOL!
Alrighty, off you go... happy hopping!
