Chocolate, aqua and kraft

Hola!

We've had some wicked thunder and lightening rain storms rolling through here recently, which you would think would help put out all of the forest fires that have been filling the sky with smoke this past week but that is not the case. More than likely they will just start new fires, causing more smoke... blech.
Now, dealing with forest fires is nothing new around here. We get hit with them every other summer or so, some closer (and scarier) than others... but that doesn't mean I have to like all that smoke blocking out the sun. I'm already longing for a cool down into more fall like weather so I can have my blue skies again!

What does any of that have to do with my card for today you ask? Well, seeing as Smokey the bear could use some help I think it would be fun to send this Swiss Pixie Birgitta in to save the day! ;)
The new challenge over at ATS this week is a color challenge to use a mix of chocolate, aqua and kraft on your card. When I was digging through my scraps I came across the wood grain paper and an idea began to form... I could just picture this peaceful forest scene, all cool and blue, with Birgitta lounging on her favorite stump. Add a few Doodlebug stickers and animal braddies and voila!

I'm beginning to think that color challenges are some of my most favorite ones to do (probably because they let me have fun mixing different papers). And now it is your turn to join the fun, just remember, every week there is a new and exciting prize being offered and in order to be eligible to win, your card must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps store. Whether it is any of our wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries, the choice is yours. Then be sure to link up your creation with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10pm est and only one entry per person please!

Later gators!
