I love you this much...

TGIF!

Big news at the Crafty Purple Frog today... my pal Amy Gould has just released her very first collection of clear stamps and stencils that she herself designed! I'm so excited for her, this is a big step in growing her business and I'm wishing Amy all the best in this new adventure. This first release consists of two stamp sets that are themed around some of the amazing wildlife over in the UK, a set of florals, a background and two sentiment sets as well as three layering stencils. I got the chance to play with the new Spread Your Wings stamp set which includes this regal looking swan, the sentiment and little builder elements like the cattails I stamped up front. I wanted it to look like the swan was coming in for a water landing so I inked up his bottom half in a grey ink so the lines would look more diffused beneath the water that I colored in. A bit of Dr. Ph Martin's bleed proof white added ripples to the surface and helped to 'push' the bottom half of the swan beneath the surface. A simple little landscape receding in the distance lets that elegant swan remain the star of the show. Thanks Amy, for inviting me to join the launch of Crafty Purple Frog products... I can't wait to see what the future holds for you!  :)

Alrighty, I'm off to work today but I will be back coloring Live tomorrow on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page... see ya then!
