As you know, Sweet November Stamps was celebrating the Mermazing MerMay release this past weekend, in fact the winners from the Instahop and Faye and Caitlin's Youtube giveaways will be announced later today. My part in the celebration was doing two Live coloring videos both Saturday and Sunday. So during the morning Live I colored up another one of the three little mermaids included in the Sunshine and Seashells set. She is resting comfortably against a bed of sea anemone conversing with the cute jellyfish that comes with Marilla. Rays of sunshine are filtering through the water hinting at the fun sentiment that I paired with her.
In the afternoon I colored up this beauty from the Mermees #3 set. Both the sea turtle and the kelp rock are also included in that set while the larger rock comes with Aquata and the crab is part of the Mermees #2 set. Because a couple of the markers I used for my skin blend ended up being a bit tacky and didn't allow for a smooth finished look I decided to color these under the sea friends into a cavern that would help explain away the more defined lines due to the light filtering in from the mouth of the cave... at least that's the story I'm sticking with! LOL
