Hey, hey!
I couldn't let MerMay come and go without getting the newest mermaid from Moonlight Whispers
onto a card. The stamp set is called, The Darkest Depths, and there is certainly something dark and twisty about this particular ocean dweller. She has surrounded herself with the remains of all the unfortunate sailors that she's lured into their watery graves, pondering her rather macabre collection. I used the Copic airbrush system to create the play of light and shadow in the water surrounding her, then stamped on the school of small fish to bring some added interest to the scene. I gotta say, after all of the bright and bubbly mermaid cards that I've been making, this was a fun little detour to take. ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
