Hello!

I'm back on the Bellariffic blog with another fun Scenic Saturday. With the new Cheer and Charm digital release just having been added to the shop, I thought it would be perfect to use one of the digi images for my card today. I'm so tickled that the digi versions of the old Rosie and Bernie images now come with an additional option that leaves Rosie's hair open for coloring, that I couldn't resist printing out Rosie Loves Bernie the Unicorn.
 

Because I knew that I wanted to stamp the Mountain View Backdrop behind them, I printed Rosie Loves Bernie the Unicorn twice, once on Copic X-Press It coloring card stock and once on thin computer paper. This way I can cut the thin version into the perfect mask that then allows me to layer the backdrop over. Once the scene was complete and the mask removed I could begin coloring. An arching rainbow seemed to be something special for these two magical friends to be looking at so I colored that in first, then I added the puffy clouds all around it. The rolling green hillside and babbling brook came to life quickly, leaving only Rosie and Bernie left to color. The sentiment at their feet comes with this image and because it is digital I was able to shrink it down to fit the space.
